I began to judge Preston because in my opinion he didn't sound as swift as the other speakers. I found myself struggling to keep up because he simply didn't sound like "social media" or familiar or catchy or in trend, he sounded different and out the norm which made me uncomfortable. Then I felt a deep conviction to stop in my tracks and listen to the content without judgement. I realised that this sermon forced me to slow down, concentrate, consider, engage the bible, engage what the speaker is saying and do the work. I realised I was a bystander until this sermon. He kept making sure we understood which forced me to interrogate my engagement. He kept repeating things, like the bible usually does. I'm so glad God called me to order because this is probably the most impactful engagement i've had.

I was listening to this message while shopping, and this sweet elderly lady came up to me talking. We dialouged for some about products as she gave me some good recommendations. Well, we departed, and of course, I thought that was the end. Not too long after, she circled back around and asked, "Can I hand you something?" I knew immediately, Jehovah Witness. It was a setup all along. I kindly asked her what does she believed about Jesus? Thank you for standing on and in truth and teaching a generation how to contend for the faith.

I love how he said that evangelism is really our collective ministry. I’m a songwriter in the alt-rock/punk scene and I’ve admittedly been afraid to put the Gospel into my lyrics because of the vitriol a lot of people seem to have for the Lord in that scene. More recently, I’ve begun to acknowledge my shortcoming in that area and in 2025, I want to use my music for the Kingdom

Not me going through deliverance after this. I had my doubts about listening to Preston at first. I've watched almost the whole conference so far but this is the only sermon that wrecked my soul so hard I'm literally spitting up in my car. IYKYK. This was beyond powerful and literally an answered prayer to my question to God of how do I become a bolder Christian. I always thought something had to shift and be developed in me. But the only thing that needed to change was my reverence and obedience so that HE could empower my boldness. God will never give you an assignment that you can do without him. Acts 9:28, Acts 5:13, Acts 13:46, Acts 5:29, Acts 18:26, Acts 19:8. NIV I urge everyone who reads this comment to not just read, but study the entire book of Acts. I love this message because when i studied Acts, one of the main things that stood out to me (other than the introduction of the Spirit of God and the birth of the early church) but also boldness and its association with sharing the gospel or anything specifically related to things of God. That kind of supernatural boldness, unusual boldness is given by the Holy Spirit. It’s a fruit of the Spirit (even though it’s not on the specific list of “fruit of the Spirit” in Galatians 5:22, it’s still a fruit because it’s something you bear/exhibit as a result of intimacy with the Holy Spirit). in NIV it’s repeated often and took note of that. I thank God for this message and for the entire Acts 242 group. God bless everyone
