Thank-you Holiday Phillips, for taking the time and energy to record this video and to post it on the More Beautiful World facebook page. Your Love and insight and wisdom affected me deeply. I am working on being an ally in my own self and your words have helped push me a step farther along the path of how to be helpful.

Your video was recommended to me and I can see why. Thank you. I will be there for the centuries of rage that needs to come out.

I am so grateful to you for your patience, your wisdom, and for the amount of careful thought that you have put into this video. You have helped me to better understand the anger that I am seeing, reading, and feeling in conversations about race. This also helps me to better explain to my white friends why there is [still, in their opinion] so much rage and anger from black people in the US especially now. Of course it is part of the grieving process. Of course. This is such an important conversation, and one I do not feel prepared to handle well most of the time. I can feel my own defensiveness coming up, and I struggle sometimes to know what to do about it. This is probably the most important, and the most intensely difficult issue I have ever wanted to engage in my whole life. I am also working on being an ally, trying not to make my white family (OY!) and friends wrong, and find some sense of hope right. now. Thank you for this video, and for your other videos to help me be better so that I can do better. Many thanks to you, and many blessings. ❤️❤️

Thank you so much. I'll share this with friends. You articulate really clearly and beautifully a deep perspective on healing. I've been feeling some of these things but didn't know how to talk about it. It represents such deep work to express it this powerfully and clearly. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I’ve been struggling with confusion because of seemingly mixed messages from BIPOC as I’ve tried to be an ally and I clammed up speaking because of fear I’d say something wrong. You really helped me understand that anger directed at me is because I’ve made myself a safe place for BIPOC to express and direct their anger without repercussions or judgement of them. It makes so much more sense to me now knowing what’s happening. Thank you for teaching us when it isn’t your job to do so!❤️

I can’t imagine any logical educated person , of any race or colour, accepting “your anger “ in the form of burning business and killing people , “as acceptable”.
