Glasses do hurt your eyes. IF you are nearsighted (so you need a prescription to see far) and you don't get a bifocal for reading, you are straining your eyes slightly to look at the computer and read books... for hours on end. Most optometrists don't account for this, or even think about it, when passing out prescriptions for myopia.

Not yet. The Blue-Eyes phase comes when the expansion with Shyvana releases. Just the little bit of cute synergy with Rage and Judgment is novel even without full Demacia dragon card pool support yet.

Warning: personal opinion down below I reckon the new expansion has brought in some game-breaking mechanics that are legitimately irksome. I'm no pro player, but ever since the new cards have been released I'm having difficulty to even have a good time. Whenever I'm up against one of the Targon decks (especially the Aurelion Sol Trudle one) I always feel like withdrawing from the match without even completing a round, since I always end up gettting beaten after a couple of "missed" death blows because of all the istantaneous healing available. I'm trying to find out new strategies that can efficiently counter the new combos or that can at least stand a chance against the high-winrate decks. Thankfully, I came across this channel and I'm learning more and more strategies by the minute; and for that I'm very thankful.

Learning is always good. I expect healing to be addressed in upcoming patches. NOT because healing is too good, but because it's too efficient or is too good at positioning. Efficiency: Starshaping isn't 'too good', but it is a very large number at burst speed and adds a desirable card to hand. Expect the number to decrease or more likely, the card added to hand to be adjusted. Positioning: the Freljord combination adds a lot of Zone Defense to the healing (Ember Maiden, Avalanche, Icequake). This is a legitimate play style, but certain setup cards being adjusted can matter, such as Wyrding Stones and Kindly Tavernkeeper. The strategy is sound, but if it is too stable, a healing meta is very boring. Kind of like the zombie bird meta previously on ladder. Finally, bear in mind that strategies aren't symmetric yet. We didn't get full region releases, so the aggro is yet to come.

I agree that it's nerf time. Targon/Freljord decks essentially give you 40 hp or something, it's too far imo, especially at burst speed. Now we're bulding aggro decks that have to deal 30+ dmg by turn 8... Starshaping needs to heal less or be fast speed or something, or like Andy said give you lower value Celestials. I also have an issue with Asol making everything 0 cost after level up, it should be more like Nautilus and give good reductions but not 9 costs for free. As a 10 cost champion Asol should be immensely powerful, but as is even if you 'outplay' a flipped Asol they can just out value you, and the healing/ramp potential of those decks mean that flipping him isn't as difficult as we predicted pre-expansion. With all that said, my winrate personally hasn't gone down, because it is still hard to pilot ramp decks and they have a lot of slow spells. I'd recommend Nightfall aggro, Discard Aggro, Spider aggro with Endure finisher, Mistwraith aggro with Endure finisher, Spider Noxus burn, they are all still perfectly viable and you'll catch out many meta chasers. I'm sure there's a couple good elusive decks still too. I know a TF/Swain Keg burn is topping leaderboards atm too.

Pretty sure they make your eyesight worse yeah. Probably also a big reason why you need a new prescription periodically.

If you have the wrong prescription it will. However, if you have the right prescription they dont. Instead, they make your eyes lazy (because they’re compensating for the muscle contraction your eyes would normally do). If you take them off and look for a hours your eyes go back to normal.

It was probably best to play the shadowseers, the highest attack units, last at the end there as to not put too many eggs in one basket. He could still technically survive using the heal cantrip + single combat from what i'm seeing.

Problem with elusive is that you can immediately surrender after 1 avalance. If you dont establish a big board you wont have enough damage, if you do it gets destroyed Same with kegs, ez, Swain and tf Even demacia with challengers and single combat ruin your game plan I dont really see elusive in tier 2 tbh
