Why are people disliking this video because they talk about politics? Almost all of it is satire, made up on the spot for a quick laugh, which is what most of these videos are made up of. Are you really that immature that you can't even stand when people chat about things vaguely political? Most of the opinions spoken in these videos aren't representative of UK or even Hatfilms, because they haven't thought about it at all and try their damnedest to be as crazy as possible. Even if their opinions differ from yours, does it really matter that much that 3 brits do not agree with you on a specific topic? When you're about to dispense the hate, take a step back and think: Will this reshape their opinions in any way? Will it make them or anyone in the comment section change their minds? If not, then why bother? If it's not constructive criticism or in any other way adding to the community, why bother?

The same argument can be made for the 'likes' instead of the 'dislikes'. Neither of them mean anything significant, except if you consider a 'brief spell of enjoying/not enjoying a video' to be significant. It's an impulse, nothing more. If person X doesn't like it, he'll leave a dislike if he's bothered enough to do so. Just let them be.
@TheLangaror7 жыл бұрын
Danial Azman i didn't mean the act of pressing the dislike button. People may do that as they please. I meant when they leave a comment openly disliking the video for no better reason than "they talked about politics".

@charlessmith78467 жыл бұрын
Holy crap this comment section. I never comment on these videos, I just silently watch them. I want to say that the people in the comments complaining are a minority, and people are more likely to leave a comment if they don't like something - hence why every comment seems to be negative. Pay no heed.
@fifteentwelve7 жыл бұрын
So it's an extension of the "If it's not broken, don't fix it" principal. If the video looked like it could use some improvement, someone will comment on the flaws ... Otherwise no point commenting if all's fine and dandy, right?

Last night the what remained of the KZbin comedy trio "Hat Films" were discovered in the Yogscast office. It seems they were handling a live grenade and had not taken any safety precautions. A video of their final moments, edited together with footage of Grand Theft Auto by the mourning editor as tribute, was uploaded to their channel as the last hat film video ever. This is that video. :,(

It's controversial, but Smithy is right on the money with the child-test, because a lot of children do suffer because of having parents who just weren't prepared for kids (or perhaps shouldn't of had kids). Though another point should be to stop people on the dole from having kids until they get off of it, as these people are clearly not in a state of finance to be raising a child from birth (as they are having to take government money to survive).
@TheLazySleeperLives7 жыл бұрын
Alternatively we could just give easy and affordable access to contraceptives and abortion
@Dogthedeadly7 жыл бұрын
Kevin Dyer Yes, because teaching people that their responsibilities can be made to go away with a pill is a great idea, not like we have enough problems motivating people as it is. My main problem with humanity right now is the insistent move towards reducing people's responsibility. Also, "easy and affordable access" always costs someone something.
@TheLazySleeperLives7 жыл бұрын
Dogthedeadly it's not about dodging personal responsibility, it's about giving access to methods of combating pregnancies for those that can't afford it, or live in a place (like a religious household) where such things could get the person in trouble. It's human nature for people to want to have sex, we can't stop that. We can, however, adapt to this and provide people with the means of avoiding a life long regret
@Dogthedeadly7 жыл бұрын
Kevin Dyer I don't care what the intent is, what matters is the result. We already have big problems with STDs, imagine if the primary deterrent for people to have intercourse was taken away. Regardless of what you believe, or why it would be implemented, it would take away the consequences of an act that can have serious effects on your health, social life, and really just life in general. Any invasion into a person's body, be it by chemicals or surgery, has an effect on their body, and if people are constantly availing themselves of these services it could have serious consequences. Finally, you did not respond to the problem of financing.
@PowerPAOK7 жыл бұрын
There are two ways of approaching the issue, a treatment and a cure. The treatment would be increased accessibility to contraceptives. That's a no brainer. Any argument against it is just an opinion that is not grounded to the reality that will have sex regardless of what you say and try to brainwash them about. The cure is to look at the root of the problem, which is an unethical class system between the rich and the poor. This can be solved plenty of ways, but the majority of people are brainwashed to think it's demonic to try to help people or are just greedy and have a lack of empathy and compassion.

@Shiroar7 жыл бұрын
Olliepop yeah their seem to be a lot of selfish people who just want children without considering if they can really provide for and raise them well. And the world is hardly underpopulated so seems like it might be better to maybe sometimes just not bring more into it.
@lequinow7 жыл бұрын
The decision to have and raise children really shouldn't be a selfish one though. If we find ourselves to live in a society that doesn't allow the less fortunates to raise children properly, there's work to do, they're not the ones to blame.

There was talk a few years back about a procedure that could be done on newborns, which would essentially temporarily disable reproductive organs, which could later be enabled by a simple operation or even a pill of sorts. I kinda like the sound of that, as that way we could at least control how many underage pregnancies happen etc.
@jameskilgour3877 жыл бұрын
Dids It's not really a problem here though. The UK is only at replacement level because of the migration we allow in, otherwise we would be in a similar position as Germany, Sweden and Japan who have an aging population (except we wouldn't have the money or health to deal with it through welfare or raising the retirement age)
