Don't mind me, just watching as much stand up as I can 6 hours before my second 10-minute set. This hosting advice has helped me quite a bit at that venue. It seems intuitive that a cold crowd won't respond to vulgar or raunchy material, but it's important for a host to hear that from someone experienced. It can be much harder if they don't have cleaner material to open a show with. lol timestamp 6:13 knows what I'm talking about.
