Thank you Jon! I promote you at the farmers market, people always stop and talk to me, asking what I'm going to do w/all these veggies. I tell them, " I'm juicing " then explain what the difference between blending and juicing is and start giving recipes. One lady said her mouth was watering and she asked me how to make something and went and got all the veggies to go home and make it, I watched her, it was amazing to watch. LOL--Then I start telling them about you and your videos and usually they get on their phone in the store and look you up. So, Jon, you're doing a great job, thank you for all your knowledge, wisdom and hard work over the years. May God bless you greatly. J

We had a masticating juicer and a Aicook centrifugal juicer like this one kzbin.infoUgkxXHNfxr6U9XrHQpsdjUrKNVP231BfS9q9 Both of them made about the same amount of juice.The Aikcook one died in 3 weeks haha. China brand. LolSo we bought this one since at least we knew the brand name and it was about the same price.Imagine our surprise when we make two 16 oz cups of celery juice and have leftover celery. We juiced it and made almost another cup! Same thing happened with our cucumber juice. So it's about 20 - 30 % more juice than our other two juicers including the masticating cold press one!The motor is so much stronger on this one than the Aikcook. It sucks in the vegetables and spits them out like it's angry.I've only had it a few days so don't know how long it will last but all the plastics and interior is much stronger and better made than the other two we had. If it breaks, I can buy a new one with the savings in vegetable bill. Haha.This literally is going to save me about 60- 80 bucks a month because of the juice output. No one likes to waste food.Update! It broke in 8 days. Motor started freaking out. I'm going to get another of them and try my luck because I really really want this one to be the one.

Thank you John!!! I bought the J2 with your link and discount code. I almost died 3 times last year. Now I'm just so very tired. I came across your videos by accident and remembered that I had a juicer. I started to juice with it last week. My wife and I had pneumonia and it helped a lot. Then after talking with my wife and watching a lot more videos, we bought the J2. We will be using it for the 1st time tomorrow. I also want to thank you for keeping it real. Even though you are an influencer, I can tell that you do it for yourself 1st and not just to make a buck. You are the type of influencer that I like to support. It will probably take most of this year juicing and getting more active for me to start to feel like myself, but the juice, I'm praying, should help me with my energy and pain. Anyway dude thank you!

Hi John, I really enjoy all your videos and content, I appreciate the research you do as well as providing the sciences and advantages of juicing. I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma bone Cancer about 2 1/2 Months ago. I'm starting to get into the juicing/blending, I was debating between buying the Hurom H70 juicer or the Void-Systems vacuum blender lid for my Blendtec blender. I know your thoughts on both but if you were to only get one, which would be your choice? Thanks and keep up the great work you do :)

Your videos, John, are SO incredible. I have juiced a few times (a fast), but let it go these past 3 years. I am ALL about the SCIENCE, too, so I TRULY appreciate your science-base attitude for your videos. These juices are incredible. Can't do much to show my appreciation, however, I went ahead and ordered the Nama J2 this afternoon just before seeing this video... using one of your codes. Hopefully, you will get a little kickback for that. Again... I APPRECIATE your years of knowledge that you share with all who are willing to listen! (: MUCH Love & RESPECT... Deborah Kay Neumann

John, So correct you are about people not thinking for themselves. I was going along thinking I needed "permission" to do just about everything. Then one day i said "screw it, I'm doing it my way. I'll do my own experiments and decide how to do things" It is more fun this way! Not to say you can't learn from others but don't always go looking for permission.

John brilliant unbias information. Changing juices is absolutely necessary. I have reversed pre diabetes with regular blending and cold pressed vegetable green juices . I do not juice any sweet fruits or carrots. Only cucumbers and lemons or limes. I have tasted my blood sugar levels and smoothies with Cinnamon and Flaxseeds lower sugar levels. I am 56 and my hair dresser thought I was in my thirties. Jay Kordich influenced me in 1991. Turmeric must be combined with black pepper for adsorption. Green Tea is amazing with Cinnamon. I switch my Green smoothies and Green juice recipes daily. Thank-you. Avocado Oil is brilliant for skin. Virgin Avocado Oil. Be careful with fruit juice and carrot juice because they spice blood sugar levels and this is dangerous. I only ear or blend green sour apples in moderation and green unripe pairs. The blood sugar meter doesn't lie.

John, have you ever juiced squash leaves? I stated juicing last week and switch it up everyday. I only do 1 pint a day. I made a really good one mixing Toscana cabbage, kale, basil, and hemp leaves, beets, and sweetened with carrots and sweet green Apples that fell off our tree and were sweet. I juice just for health but not any specific health issue. I'm starting to eat more raw but paleo. I still feel sick if I don't get animal protein but I did decrease the amount ofeat on my plate, and always but locally raised. We try to get a rainbow everyday and thanks to your knowledge, weswitch varieties rather than the same thing every week.

Hi John. Another amazing video - Thank you! Question can you share what the ratios are for your Green Juice? How much for your water base / how much greens/ how much Other i.e. herbs turmeric ginger etc. Secondly, can you share what else can we include in our green juice besides greens and water vegetables for just daily overall health and perhaps teeth health as well. By the way I loved that video from you too on teeth remineralization - learned a lot. Thank you for all you do. God bless you abundantly.
@discountjuicers2 жыл бұрын
My ratios depend on what I can source! In general I shoot for 50-70% "watery veggies" celery/romaine/cuke/green cabbage and 50-30% more "hard core" think kale or other stronger greens. Each time I make a batch is different. I dont add other herbs into my green juice, but they would be used in smaller amounts as well. I would recommend making other juices besides green juices, look up my root juice videos online, that is another staple in my diet. I dont like to mix my roots with greens these days so much.

To date, I have had no luck with juices. They all tasted bad. Today I tried a combination not really expecting that this combo would be any different. Surprisingly, it was edible. Pleasant, even. I used half a fennel (base, stalks, and wispery "leaves(?)", a dozen diced carrots, on whole package of celery heart (based root removed, and diced), one whole lemon (rind and all), and one Fuji apple (core removed). Best combo to date. Hopefully John will be able to tell me how healthy this combo is (never heard him discussing fennel before.) BTW: juiced using an Omega VRT 350.

This video is all about how to formulate your own juice recipes :) I don't necessarily recommend any specific recipes. Juicing is part of a healthy diet that can help inflammation in the body. I recommend "eat to live" book by Dr. Joel Fuhrman that is a diet can help promote health and healing.

I’m very much looking forward to your video on a Juice electrolyte blend. I suffer from POTS and the recommendation is to drink Gatorade and eat more salt and I’d prefer not to do either. I struggle drinking straight celery juice. Also since I have sjogrens which decreases saliva my mouth is always dry and the with the extra salt I drink more water so it’s a never ending cycle.

@discountjuicers2 жыл бұрын
Nama advertises the J2 as it will make smoothies and even includes a "smoothie screen". My opinion is that a vacuum blender is best for making smoothies. I have never used the j2 to make smoothies, nor do I necessarily advocate it.

Hi everyone! I have a question Every day I juice 1litre of celery juice ( Medical medium ) and about 1,2 litre of cucumber juice. Now is Nama J2 any good for cucumber? Because in current mashine on feedeing place cucumber creates "foam" building back, it is not a big issue but once every minute I have to stop and wait until foam slowly drops....
@discountjuicers2 жыл бұрын
the Nama J2 Can juice cucumbers, I do it all the time. Firm cucumbers juice better than soft ones. I choose english cucumbers that work best. Younger cukes tend to foam less than older ones.

I'm curious as to why you combine fruits and vegetables when it's commonly known that you're not suppose to combine fruits and vegetables. Most of what I've researched say carrots and apple are the only two items you can combine with both sides. And then you have others who say melons should be kept alone.
@discountjuicers2 жыл бұрын
Basically depends who you ask. I use to only combine apples and carrots as I was taught, but started experimenting with different recipes, and never had any digestive upset or negative symptoms due to a specific mix. That being said, most common foods have "horrible" food combining. That being said,I encourage each person to find what works best for them.

OMG covid has got the lab techs stuck inside to create an update to the Vertical Single auger juicer that can juice celery. It has been mentioned it being time to upgrade my still running well OMEGA Juicer VRT330 ($314.99/02/28/2011) which is over a decade old, which according to Ebay is worth only $40 to $60 dollars. Opps did I just reveal that I have been watching Discount Juicers videos for over a decade and a half.
