I am going to start the program in September, at Langara as well. Just wondering how difficult the midterms&finals are, were they all multiple choice questions? or combined with short answer questions? What the class average was like during your study?

Hi! Midterms and finals in my school are mostly multiple choice and select all that apply type of questions to mimic the actual NCLEX. We also have short answers and essays depending on your course. I actually don't know our class average, professors rarely tell us of it.

Hi ma’am , I have started my NNAS process from India and coming this September as student , so if my nnas result is incomparable then what should I do ?? Is it fine just to create nnas n then pass US nclex n transfer license ??

After NNAS, you would send it to the nursing regulatory body of your province and they will be the one to give you further instructions. Passing NCLEX is only one requirement, they have to check if your education is enough for their practice.

Hi Nurse Fabb, may l please ask , l want to apply for the same program in langara (Post graduate degree diploma nursing) , so l want to ask is it a must that l should first go through the National nursing Assessment service (NNAS) before applying for the program ????? Or its optional My friends were told to take up some courses in order to complete the assessment , so l am avoiding to waste time doing it because we went to the same school and obtained the same credentials,,,,,so is mandatory to first go through NNAS before applying in langara or any other college ?

Hi! I think the difference would be your friend might just need to take a few courses but if you want study right away you need to take the 1-2 year program. If you are a permanent resident I suggest go do the NCAS way. But if you dont have status here, it's hard to take just a few courses because most schools don't accept international students. Since January 2023 it's not mandatory to use NNAS only. there are other options nowadays like WES which is cheaper and faster than NNAS. More info here kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaOqgp6NfruMias
