Hi , I am also a psy and i agree with peterson point of view . But i went to add some content he is speaking about the power of men and women in another way the dinamic of yin and yang so more you are in the masculin energie more you attract the feminin energie and the opposit is true . Also the masculin energie is about dominating your path (like to be desicive and confident ..) and the feminin energie is submision so more you are submitive as men you are less attractive . That lead as to the idea of power , he talks about power as confidence but i don't agree with that because it's self-fulfillment that lead to real power .

@Sug Madick I don't see how Jordan Peterson fits any of the above criteria, except in his own mind. He never speaks to those who disagree with him, except when surrounded by those who do agree with him. That is SO not alpha male

@Sug Madick I'm looking at the same, stupid, videos you are. Re-read what I wrote. I didn't say he didn't speak with people who disagree with him. I said he makes sure there are more people who agree with him, before he speaks with people who agree with him. Alpha's have the attitude of leadership, not "agreement by majority"

@Sug Madick I don't understand why you conflate "disagreement" with "hate'. He provokes disagreement, as do all media personalities. He needs people coming after him, otherwise, there's no one for him to "defend", aka his public personae as the male "savior" . I literally came across his video's by accident. Then, got bored with them very quickly since I disagree with pretty much all of his premises. As a heterosexual male, I find his premise that sexual pronouns are the basis of harassment, violence issues, disingenuous. I happen to agree with his opponents that mutual agreement on the correct prounouns has nothing to do with stopping the hate based attacks against non-straight males. Politicians not standing up for other than straight males, is definitely a problem, that Peterson seems to dismiss. Irresponsibly, in my opinion. I'm for mutual respect, not mutual agreement.

@Sug Madick you can use the term "compelled speech" as long you don't define it, which, I was waiting for him to define. "You" can argue words all day, as long as they remain "undefined" There is a saying within the "debate" community. "Define the term(s) win the debate" In other words, if I can get my definition(s) accepted, I've won my case. Their are plenty of definitions available, Websters dictionary, Webster's Unabridged (which is my personal preference, Black's Law, just to name a few. Which is why high school debate, collegiate debate and courts of law don't descend into "well, that's not how "we" use that term" And, I can safely say that Jordan and his dissenters tend descend into the "rhetorical mass" so popular in community "debates". Jordan insisting that his definitions of pronouns are correct. And, the dissenters, well, dissenting.
