It is difficult for people who are Self-Love Deficient to overcome. They may know that God loves them but they cannot grasp the fullness of God's love if they hate themselves. There is an assumption that everyone loves themselves but that is not true. Although rejection and depression have a spiritual component there is also the lack of self-love and lack of self-forgiveness involved.

This is so so true! You can identify as a victim and it keeps you completely trapped. God doesn't believe we are victims. He gives us the ability to overcome. We just have to believe in ourselves as God does ❤
