In this video I show you guys the wild edibles around you. Sometimes you dont have access to nutritious foods. But since you all now know that you can cook outdoors rather easily, if you watched my last video that is.
Collecting wild greens is fast, easy and fun. But beware the pitfalls, most will tell you not to eat wild greens because you'll die. But as long as you eat other things like nuts berries and the occasional beef steak. Then you'll be fine.
Wild greens deplete your body of thiamine. Normal foods like nuts berries and meats contain thiamine. So as long as you make sure it isn't your only food for prolonged periods. Then you'll be fine.
Stay smart stay happy.

Listen to them? I praise jesus for them. Enemy only comes when your on the right path. Those claiming it doesn't work are 99% of the time the people looking for tips to stay homeless and be more comfortable about doing it. I don't offer that. I offer move yourself up tips. They don't like that. God bless everyone here trying to just make it back up

I once heard plants who are close to lots of traffic absorb the car fumes and you should not eat them! Don't eat stuff close to roads. (Can't remember if you mentioned this in the video, sorry if you did) Thanks so much for this series, it comforts me and helps me feel more prepared.

@@jabohabo3821 Good morning to you, the pie looks like a divine breakfast medicine, Wow, I just saw your reply after making a very brave decision and the following action I had to take to improve the quality of my life, thank you for your timely reply and videos, I feel a calling to make videos and I am a singer and writer though I'm really shy of the tech world, I wish I would allow myself to learn this way, it would be so 2024, yeah I'm just so shy of taking pictures of myself and others or really even using my camera at all, I think it could be, hopefully, a temporary result of past trauma though I'm also very wiId in the respectful way for our Mother Hearth, here now in the moment and probably avoid my phone a lot though I feel this calling for photography and videos, I really like the song "Calling My Children Home," by Emmylou Harris Wishing Well, this is Maya, Feel free To write Anytime!

Your more than welcome. I have a new video out now and will continue to put out new information to help as many as I can. God found a way to take my hardships and struggles and use it to help others not have to endure the same things I did. Praise jesus and I hope and pray many people find it helpful. Even if they don't subscribe.

Absolutely! But nkt the needles. They contain cellulose crystals your body can't actually digest. You can 100% make a vitamin C rich tea from fresh (light green) pine needles though!

reminds me that the other day i was thinking that when i end up out there that i could roll up some wild lettuce to see if could sell it for a buck or two the hardest thing i think is to get people to try it but I'll probably end up smoking it all myself

Most things are edible. We have been conditioned to believe that only what is grown for commercial sale is safe. When you find something your God given senses work. First touch it to tongue wait for a response, then take a tiny bit hold it in your mouth. If no response it probably edible.

I got a bit confused with the wood sorrel and clover bit. Must be the differences, me being in the UK. Wood sorrel here didn't look the same, though the inexperienced might confuse it with clover. Tastes like apple peel. Clover here has the white chevrons on the leaves. It's the main identification feature.

Are you talking about white or red Clover? Both are edible as is every plant in the Clover genus. Or Trifolium. Regardless of taste every part of the plant at every growth stage is edible.

I was a bit rushed that day and had alot I wanted to cover and didn't even do a fraction of it all. I misspoke. Yes Clover is wood sorrel. Sheep sorrel however is very different. Sheep sorrel is in both the UK and US. it is thick and substantial, almost to the point of a soft succulent. They are full of water and vitamin C. Called trail blazers friend as well due to its water content and eating a handful of them will Quench your thirst for a good while. May be called something else there? It's got an arrow or spear shaped leaf and usually grows in dense clusters.

What about the blackberries how did they turn out once dried
@jabohabo3821
@jabohabo3821 5 ай бұрын
Didn't make a video but they turned out perfect! It was such a simple process too. Literally mash them down or blend them and spread thin iver food safe plastic or rubber. Once it starts to shrink and the edges lift off or look like they want to. It needs to be flipped in the sun. Same with a dehydrator but I prefer to use hot days. I got a little excited and ate mine before it was done completely. Different texture and flavor than anything store-bought.
