Сonfidence is about desingaging yourself from self doubt. It doesn't mean that you have to be ''perfect'' all the time or prepared for any given situation, because that can actually cause more stress than lacking it, which is rather a inferiority complex. I totally agree with the ''learning'' part, but the main thing you have to do above all is internalize and shape a sence of self respect.
