We can spend time praying Luisa Piccarreta's book, " The Hours of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ." Christ promised to protect the areas where it is prayed from God's full wrath. It also promised to save a soul for each word recited. It is approved by the Church, endorsed by Padre Pio, & she lived on nothing but the Eucharist for 60+ yrs. We are under the judgement of GOD- let's try & mitigate it & save souls. The world as We knew it is rapidly fading.

This was just what I needed to hear. I'm addicted to a lifestyle where I need more and more, but it is with women, not just with thing, promotions, money, etc. That makes it, I thought, much more complicated. I was almost to the point of despair. When I heard, this, however, I realized that it could completely apply to the sinful attitude I take towards women. I see them as objects (now) and I pray everyday that I will see them as my sisters in Christ. The first step out of the mire is to see them their beauty as "sufficient." I see one beautiful woman and she is sufficient for me. Usually when I see another one, I think, "Oh, this one one's better, now I will start all over again and become addicted to fantasizes that revolve around her." But the truth is that I was satisfied with the first one. The second (or third, or fourth) will make no difference. God has supplied everything I need to be happy and satisfied in full sufficiency. I realize this might be offensive to women readers of this KZbin series, but men's addiction to the feminine is not talked about and considered an "addiction" that can't be overcome, rather than something that can directly involved God and can be overcome by his mercy and forgiveness. Thank you so much Fr. Mark Mary for this KZbin video. It has made all the difference for me in a dark place of my life I thought no light could enter.

Can you do a video about being disorderly obsessed with minimalism? where you feel feel like you can't accept anything nice because there's an inherent guilt with having nice things? I think about this a lot with weddings, where it is good to want a celebration and for those invited to enjoy it, but also the tension of wanting to "prove" you don't need much at all, to the chagrin of those invited.

There's this phenomenon called the Diderot effect wherein once you buy something, there is that urge to buy other things to match the thing you bought which creates a sense of necessity where there was none before. Like when you buy shoes, you feel like you need to buy a handbag and clothes that will match it. When you renovate your kitchen, you buy tiles for the floor then suddenly you feel the urge to change your countertops to match, and then maybe you want to renovate your dining room as well. When you get a nose job, suddenly you get the urge to add collagen to your lips, and maybe get a grow lift then also some botox. It's a consumerist spiral where you never are truly content. I am slowly learning how to stop this spiral, thank you father for the tips.

This can also be applied, it seems, to not being satisfied with a less than super upbeat mood. Like, I'll be feeling great, but then later my mood kind of slumps, and it's hard to find joy in stuff. And I feel like I should not be in a slump. But what if I just accept a less than perfect mood while it is here? I know a better mood will arrive sooner or later, and then I can really be grateful when this happens. I've never looked at it that way before....it's not that different from wishing the kitchen was updated. Being content with what I have. God is here either way.

I'm married with kids. 40 years old. I have an emptiness inside of me. I always had an overwhelming urge to either try and be a priest or monk. I got married instead. Now I can't get rid of the emptiness. I don't feel the deacon role though. It doesn't give me the same feeling that thinking about the priesthood or monk life does.

Boom. I am in the same boat. It has now docked thanks to you. The Holy Spirit led me to this video for my wife 1st. Then I saw your comment. Your comment is why I am here. The Lord in a very still, quiet voice is telling me. You do more work as a priest in your household than in the fields or streets. Jesus, Mary and Joseph was the first Holy Family Church to be protected. A Family is the MOST important Church 1st. The Devil desires that Church be torn down 1st before all others!! We are doing the work of Priests, Prophets, Healers and soldiers already bro! Read your Bible homie with Love! I love you as a Child of Adonai but we made a commitment to a family and only the Lord can separate it. If he want's you to be a Priest of the Order he'll separate you from your Family (That will be messy guaranteed) and make you one; and you won't even know how it happened. Amen! Stick in there. Volunteer in your poorest, roughest, grittiest, hardest communities. Knock on doors. I'm Catholic and the Paraclete has me signed up for this with a separate Church denomination even!! Like what the what?!?! God moves people, places, time, things, events, physics. There is no freak'n coincidences in this Universe. It is ordered in purpose. Ask for his wisdom. It may help to do your very best as the head of your domestic church. Find ways to lead your family's prayer life. Perhaps gradually mold family prayer life to imitate monastic prayer life. For example, start morning and/or evening prayer from the Divine Office. I pray that leading your family deeper into prayer will help satisfy some of your own yearnings as well as perhaps plant seeds for vocations in your kids.

This is a valuable lesson you are offering here Fr. Mark Mary. I, as a religious, love the fact that my needs are few. I never have to worry about what I'm going to wear because, I have 1 color choice, Black. I never have to worry about what I'm having for dinner, unless, I'm cooking it and do want to poison my Brothers or doing the shopping and then I go by the menu planned for the upcoming week. I don't have to worry about my job, I don't have to worry about where I'm going to live. I'm a teacher, so the stuff I have has little to do with me, and everything to do with my students. I love the freedom and simplicity of life, that comes with desiring only my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ... My Father, when I was growing up, always drilled into me, that your needs and your wants in life are two different things. His simple philosophy about life was ... [ you never own anything, but, things/stuff own you. ] Looking forward to next week's lesson.

It's so annoying. On good days, I feel great, but on bad days when I feel spiritually dry/burntout or just tired of life, I get upset when someone else has something that I feel would make me happy that they have and I don't. I wish I could be happy for someone with no insecurity at all.

I do mental hoarding. I always want to know more and it gets in the way of me actually writing my fictional story. I squander so much time looking at young, beautiful, rich celebrities. I seriously envy religious life. I would love to live a simple, structured daily life. I feel like I have no time for doing my homework and prayer. I can spend so much time collecting images, internet surfing, and excessive notetaking. I waste time. I am easily distracted and I try to do like fifteen things at once. I multitask. I have like ten tabs opened on my computer at a night.

So last night I was watching a video on Saint Anna Maria Taigi. Anyway Jesus told her that he could be in hearts that were simple and humble and so I got a book on simplicity and realized I’m not as simple as I thought I was can you do a video on what Jesus means by the simplicity. I am only just a wife I have a pretty simple life I even live in a cabin with no electricity or running water but that’s not it. I think he means internally in your soul and your heart and sometimes scrupulosity can get in. If you can give a video on simplicity of heart I would really like that

Forgive me my sins. Deepen my relationship with your Holy Spirit and release in me all the gifts of your Holy Spirit, so that I may be the person that you called me to be and God the Father may thereby be glorified. and include a prayer for the priest. If Father Mike can include a prayer for himself and BIAY. BIAY and the listeners it would be in case anyone forgets to do it and he asks everyone to Pray it with him..Basically a prayer at the end that everyone can say and it is for the viewer and the priests and the program.
