Being bipolar I have a lot of intrusive thoughts that tell me I’m not saved, that everything I do as a Christian is just an act. It’s not easy to worship with thoughts like that, but I remind myself that God doesn’t expect us to be emotional or theatrical in our praise. My worship is very silent, usually just singing worship songs in my car as I drive to and from wherever I need to go.

I don't think it's possible for any of us to fully appreciate God's gift, but that doesn't mean we're not saved. We're saved by God's grace in Christ Jesus, through faith (aka believing and *trusting* in God), not through complete understanding of how great God's gift is. Understanding is good, but it isn't the same as faith.

what helped me was to go to a place in my house that was closed off from other people, get down on my knees and speak out loud all of my deep problems to god and tell him how your feeling deep down and that you want him to save you. another thing is getting into the bible and trying to read it almost everyday. the real way to get over sin is to get closer to god and love all the things he loves, if you do that you’ll start to hate all the things he hates.

The video took me in surprise, in thinking, in tears and relief after which I almost gave up on a message that I need---- I want more of God because I have sinned and depressed ever since derailing from the basic belief of my Catholic school. No matter how hard I tried to remain normal, I knew it was just the appearance. While the dark and resentment has been there inside all along, I learnt that display good deeds is not the way to earn peace or love, it won't succeed because I am not holy like Him, rather do what God knows as the true way is to have faith about His words as a loving God who has done it all.
