How to be Lady like when Invited to Dinner

Elegant ladies, it is so easy to slip up in certain areas especially when you are in familiar settings. However, it is important to exhibit lady like qualities in all settings and this way, it will become second nature to you.
This video shares a few basic rules of etiquette to follow when invited to dinner. As we are in the midst of a pandemic, if you are to be invited to dinner, this is likely to be in much smaller settings- where there will be greater scrutiny!

1. Don't Turn Up Empty Handed - Bring a bottle of alcohol or just bring something to gift the host. Does not have to be expensive but it shows kindness and gratitude and elevates you. 2. Be Careful About Over-drinking - Don't overindulge in alcohol and get drunk and make a fool of yourself. 3. Conversation - Refrain from gossiping, talking bad about someone and putting anyone down, making lewd jokes or using any lewd languages and swearing. Don't look bored. Say nothing if conversation is veering towards negativity. 4. Don't Insinuate Anything If Host's Food Is Not To Your Palette - Instead compliment her on other areas, thank host for her hospitality & generosity as it's not easy to host any type of event. Assure the host that you really enjoyed your evening.

Great advice! I personally I love a bit of gossip, but if people are simply being rude and catty for no reason I think it’s fine to call that out politely ask them to move on from that topic, at least in your presence!

All the videos are great.I think it would be a good idea to mention that it is best if women refrain from chewing food with their mouths open as some often do.This shows good manners.Some people might take offence at this statement so it is best to say it as politely as possible.
