I do think you may have answered your own request for an alternate term for ‘self-obsessed.’ Midway in the video, you use the term ‘self-assured,’ which I think suits your meaning closely. As a self-assessment, I think my energies of purpose and gratitude are solid but could definitely take my energy of detachment further (as much as that may be something of a contradiction). Love the idea of seeing life as a ride. So far, mine is a good one.
