Thank you this video was very helpful because I´m a very shy person and because of that I have right now a lot of problems with my hostfamily because I can´t be myself and I´m not really talking a lot with them and they are very frustrated about it because I´m here since six months. My social anxiety is really ruin my aupair year was is very sad and frustrated and right now I just try to fix the situation and to be myself but right now I can´t be myself. Silvia Brüstle you can ask them „how was their day?“ also tell them about your day. What did you do? If you don’t wanna talk much about yourself, mention things what you did with your host child during the day. What was a highlight for you or your host child? Start to tell them stories!! Hope that helps!
