Hey girl. I love your channel and found it yesterday. I just wanted to say that as your channel grows there will definitely be trolls because you're preaching something contrary to popular belief these days but if/when that happens. Stay strong and don't let them crush your spirit or your sweetness.

Yes - and there will also be those who truly appreciate her and her message. As a man, she is one of the very few (modern) western ladies that I would cherish in my inner circle, and the worth she is able to pass on and inspire will stir the best in men to stand up for her and give women like her their best as well.

Ok so I'm not a christian- but I am a woman and ive been looking for inspiration to cultivate my femininity and unfortunately a lot of the other channels that focus on femininity are very toxic and not gentle. You seem kind and intelligent and gentle and open. I am not a christian but your message still resonates with me, which is unique on this platform. I LOVE your message.

I thought of myself as a character in an RPG game. In any game, you are given certain attributes like 5 strength, 2 health, 4 agility, 7 intelligence, etc. I see outer beauty is one of these attributes. You've got to understand which attribute you lack and which ones you can improve further to make your life more meaningful and useful to others. It's all about finding the right set of balanced attributes. :)

The Kibbe body typing system actually can help ladies get a direction on which clothes look "right" on their lines. It's why some people look sloppy in more "deconstructed" styles, and some women look excellent in them. It explains what to wear if you're very angular, or more naturally rounded and curved (not heavy, but the lines of your body). It helped me give up trying to wear classic styles that seemed too try-hard and formal on me, and to embrace looking a little romantic because lace and lighter fabrics actually compliment me. However, my friends look doll-ish in lace or very light or swishy pieces. Some of the lace stuff looks really "bedroom" on others, but it actually looks great in me without being suggestive. I think God gives us all different features and it's really fun to take advantage of that. Actually, by trying to force on style on someone who looks awkward it it just draws attention to their flaws.

Yes to kibbe. when I came across it from youtuber Aly Art, my eyes completely opened. I'm still learning, by the way, I think I'm a Soft Natural.
@chucksareforshmucks55205 жыл бұрын
That's cool!! I was torn between SN and Theatrical Romantic for like a year. However, I can wear pure romantic clothes and look nice, but any natural lines beside SN make me look like I'm a drowning mess 😂 TRs can get away with fitted lacy things without looking provocative, so it's been eye opening for me. I try to tone it down a little, but a lacy camisole under things doesn't look nearly as bad as it sounds. If I could choose I'd rather be in the natural or classic family since those styles are a little easier to shop for it seems :) The boho vibe is cool!
@aprilblossom60935 жыл бұрын
@@chucksareforshmucks5520 It took me a year and some to find out what I am. However I'm still learning and discovering. I'm not sure what I can wear other than soft natural as yet.
@chucksareforshmucks55205 жыл бұрын
Merriam Style has some great vids! There's one for if you're confused/one the fence with your type and how you can try on each major types lines to see how they look. So for me, if I was a Soft Natural I would be able to wear true Natural lines without looking bad, but since I do look awful in them, I'm not a SN. But I can do true Romantic and look decent, but look best in Theatrical Romantic. SN and TR are so similar though! I wear a lot of either :)

As you grow into your later years, you can cultivate a style which can elevate your look. I think clothes are even more important as you get older - nothing frumpy, but stylish sophisticated looks can really go a long way to give you a certain look. Also, grooming becomes even more important. Outer beauty is enhanced by your personal style and vibe, and it's not all about how beautiful you are anymore - it's about how you grow and evolve into something deeper and more interesting. Great video.

You're awesome and make some really good points. Sometimes it's good to put your phone down completely and seek the beauty around you in the real world. It's everywhere. It's a friend throwing her head back in the breeze and laughing uproariously at a joke you tell; it's looking your partner's eyes as the sun sets and seeing love there as you both grin like complete idiots at each other; it's the unexpected "nice hat!" you get from a little old lady at the store, who is also wearing a nice hat; it's catching a glance of yourself in the mirror after getting good news and it's so many other little moments that you'll miss if you're just staring at a screen all day.

Man Here. I have to say I find this video very refreshing. In modern times, there has been a drive in the western world promoted by third wave feminism that the only way a woman can be 'strong' and confident is to be somewhat aggressive and constantly in competition with men and to outright reject any notion of traditional femininity. Femininity has become vilified as something weak or submissive and it really isn't. Sure, as a heterosexual guy I find traditional femininity very attractive (and before anyone misunderstands me I also respect women in business etc) but it isn't about pleasing men. I think that women who embrace their femininity actually end up happier because they don't always feel the need to be defensive and want to prove how strong they are. This is not about equality- I fully support equal opportunities. But no matter how it is glossed over an activity like boxing is masculine, not feminine- this doesn't mean women can't do it. They can. But when did gentleness become weakness? I consider femininity very strong in a woman. Yin yang. Opposites attract. Even in gay couples there is a 'masculine' and 'feminine' duality. Women who embrace their femininity are called submissive Men who appreciate femininity are accused of being against equality. Its sad really.
