Along with nesting is hospitality. Can you do a video on the lost art of hospitality? 40 plus years ago women used to hold all kinds of parties at their home. Women are more social than men, but with careers it leaves less time to entertain. Nobody knows what to do anymore! I’ve been to people’s homes for gatherings where no one takes my coat or gives me my first drink. No one knows how to introduce strangers or that they even should! I could go on... I think hospitality is a womanly art and you could do a lot on that subject. Besides, what’s more meaningful and time worthy than growing your network of friends and strengthening family ties?
@lepolhart3242
@lepolhart3242 5 жыл бұрын
I think it's not only lack of time but also lack of money to host such parties. It must cost alot of money to have parties inviting more than a few friends as cost of living is rising all the time and most people are trying to survive.

This video is so refreshing and rare in our culture. I think one of the most important points is that decluttering FIRST makes tidying and cleaning so much easier and more manageable. And even before decluttering is the importance of not consuming as much and bringing more into the home. I appreciated that you made this point as well about keeping good quality items as long as possible and not purchasing cheap, disposable trends. Nothing ladylike or feminine in that.

These videos are so nice to see. I have trouble finding a balance with my femininity and my more “masculine” attributes. Like, for some reason it’s really hard for me to understand that I can be feminine while also having an interest in martial arts. Maybe that’s just me, but it’s nice to see a woman unapologetically embracing that primal feeling we have to be feminine and to nest!!! 💜💜

Martial arts are very graceful and elegant though which are very feminine aspects. So maybe just look for the feminine within the traditionally masculine things you love.

I live at home with my parents, share a room with my sister AND run a business/ KZbin channel out of my room. My "nest" is always a mess. 😥 But I am a professional mermaid, and I am proud to say that even though my space may not be perfect, I take very good care of my silicone mermaid tail. I know it isn't the same as nesting, but taking good care of my tail makes me feel good, as it is something I can keep looking nice. It's like my baby. ☺ That being said, I can't wait for the day when I have a larger nest that has enough room to store business materials, props, merchandise, ect without things looking messy. 🖤 Lovely video. Looking forward to more!

I’ve been binge watching your videos this week and this one came at a wonderful time where my Husband and I have been working on specifically remodeling our bedroom 😊 it isn’t an easy task but it’s one that’s worthwhile and I’m happy to have my forever partner with me to help with his tool box while I help with putting a woman’s touch into our love nest, as you mentioned. I want to quickly thank you for creating your channel in a world where it’s difficult to “come out” as a conservative young woman or a married young woman or a homemaker/housewife or we’re made to feel like our lives aren’t complete because some of us wish to be a caretaker, wife and mother. I also read your blog posts and you really reinforce the truth of the matter for those of us who feel like we’re alone in being a feminine woman who want to tend to our homes with our spouses and raise strong families. A big *thank you* ♥️ And coming from a police family, I want to send my blue heart love to you and yours 😊 I appreciate that your hubby takes on such a demanding job to protect your community, just as my uncle did for his wife and children for his entire life 💙

I wish I could have watched you growing up. I always felt so ashamed, growing up in a very liberal city, with my dreams of keeping a home and honoring a husband. I would obsessively watch the movie "The Stepford Wives" and think they were so cool! Lol obviously I know women are not robots: far from it! But keeping a beautiful home and being an amazing wife is very fulfilling. I do have a small business to bring in money, but I just think society as a whole NEEDS women to take back the dignity and honor in being traditional women. SO happy you will be reaching a new generation of girls! ✌❤

I actually was really brainwashed of the whole feminist society. But I fell in love and (he's my boyfriend) he just brought me to where I am now. I mean it. You don't necessarely need to find a woman that is traditional. You need to find a woman that has all you want of course you need standarts. But actually you can 'make' a woman traditional. If you piece for piece show her how great and good it is to live that way. You need to thrive in your masculinity and she'll automatically feel feminine. Also it can be that there are traditional women out there, but they aren't going to find you if you're not representing the way you live life the way you want to be. I found my boyfriend attractive and it showed me that I like the way he's living and I want to be the completing piece to have a great relationship. And also I really recommend the youtuber alexander grace, he's doing great videos!

What stands out to me and resonates in my heart is "caring" for what has been given to me. I am not the most disciplined person when it comes to keeping my space host ready. Part of that is being overwhelmed with items from the past which need to pass away from my current life. It's like a clog upon which all things new coming into my life get jammed up. oooo...not a pretty picture! It's a fear problem. It's very real but absolutely needs to be conquered. There are certain ideas that I like to meditate on and prayer about which will bring about life change for me. And I think "care" is one of them. Thank you for your efforts! Please raise me up and other women like me who get stuck and miss out on all which God has for them. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Mrs. Midwest thank you again for your wonderful videos. By the way... I bet your pup wonders who you must be talking to and who mama is giving attention to. Lol ... From New York City homemaker, hugs for you and head pats for your puppy.
