It’s a tough one, but I need to get better with my patience. Sometimes I get mad and feel guilty the little human just wants to be around me and learn.

So grateful to hear your advice. You've been a huge help. As a 37 year old first time Dad, now a 39 year old with an 19 month year old toddler, who's also a little clone of yourself.....Yeah...I called my parents and apologized for always being a class clown and kind of a dick. I get it now. I'm trying so hard, but it's hard to work 40 hours a week, have a side hustle, be a good husband, dad and still maintain peaceful time for yourself. But I'm always willing to work on it. I do want to say, Dual Parenting wasn't as prevalent as it is today. My dad worked 10-12 hours a day, and my mom took care of us. Today, we both work 40 hours a week and more at times, and are both cleaning diapers, giving baths, cooking, cleaning. It's rewarding when her face lights up but other times i'm cursing my dad out, "Lucky B@$t$%!!!" LOL. Thanks again!!!

Im a father of 6 and a single parent. Im doing a lot better than I was 5 years ago. The main thing I've learned was that "as soon as you realize you should have been more understanding. Let it be known you were wrong, quickly. Letting them know you care, that you was wrong and could've been better at expressing yourself.." Patiently Positive Vibes Only

Hi! I have 5 young children, my oldest is 9 and my youngest is 2. It gets overwhelming but its only because I have little to no patience. After viewing this video, I will put these tips in effect immediately. Thanks for sharing

Did it work?
@simonecrawford134211 ай бұрын
@@serenapalmer1220 yes, it worked. But I also started praying for patience in addition to these steps. Not only did this help me with my children, but also in the work place and in every day situations. Stay strong sis

As a mom I’m grateful I came across this tonight. I needed this !

I needed this. My family of 4 just became a family of 7. We took in my sister in laws kids. She never paid any attention to them, as a result they are all out of hand most the time. (7, 4, and 2 years old, added to my 4 and 1 year old). So glad I found this video. Can’t wait to try these approaches. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Yes, I have twins. A Boy and a Girl. And they are always on the go. Playing,Getting into things when I'm trying to cleaning,Up out of there bed playing in the room when it's time for bed. Always something. Sure this is expected from 4 year olds lol these steps helped realize that communication for them is not there yet. And helped me calm myself down when things get crazy! Thank you so much...will be watching more!

Sure hope I can incorporate a bit of this as a Type A who demands excellence with anyone working for me...including my kids. Helping my 10 year old w match is very difficult as a biomedical engr. My 12 year old gets it. My 10 year old...horrible in math. Been a very challenging situation that I must become better at. Your tips are helpful

Man i feel like complete garbage when i get mad at my little boy. I alway apologize to him after i lose my temper and promise him ill never hurt him wirh my hands and that i love him. But i know that anger is the worst trait you can pass down. I have been meditating and recently became fully sober. But when he does stuff on purpose and then laughs it off its hard to control my emotions. We are all trying our best but i still feel like a piece of shit. I love that little guy so much.

I see what Frosty is saying. Not everyone is with the maturas and meditation but most of it is good advice.
