Notes: Procrastination is the cause of the fear that you don’t know how to do something. You will never know how to do something unless you take the step to try. Taking the first step sets you on a roll. 1. Morning routine: Wake up early: slow morning with no work schedule. Wake up 1 hr earlier than usual. - Go gym for mental health: exercise creates more energy and productivity (every other day: read a book). - Nutritious breakfast (low sugar): eggs, avocado on toast, oats, granola, healthy high fibre yoghurt bowls - Get ready for the day/work. 2. The working day - Time restrictions for each task (= time blocking: e.g. 11.15-12 pack and ship orders). Helps against procrastinating bc no infinite sense of time. - Don’t say you’re going to work all day: it’s not focused productive work and you feel burnt out. - Stay organised and create organising systems: use apple calendar app colour code the things you want to balance in your life and use time blocking technique. Do a little bit of each task every day to not get bored and procrastinate. - Allow for flexibility: follow your intuition (feminine energy) rather than logic and rigid order (masculine). Play to your strengths. Write down your top priority things - urgend, mid priority - important, low priority - can be moved and the rewards (e.g. netflix, yt, starbucks solo date, journalling, reading). - POMODORO timer: 25 minute timer online + 5-10 min break, another 25 min work session. - Just focus on the first step. 3. Best productivity hacks talk through: PREP TO TAKE THE THINKING OUT OF LIFE so you know what to do every day - Create the calendar and colour code & time block it every week - Commit every evening and saturdays to do things that spark joy: relax, see friends, take time for hobbies, - Commit sundays to get your life in order to prepare everything for the week ahead of you to make life easier - Habit-tracker app: tick off goals, e.g. taking supplements, journal - Increasing motivation: watch motivational videos save in folder. Rely on discipline. You’re saying no to urself to take control in ur life: create a habit step by step. - Create separation: change surroundings with longer study periods, e.g. 9 am till 12 pm study at home & lunch, then 1 pm till 4 pm study at a cafe, go home eat dinner and then spend 3-4 hours at uni library. Refreshens your mind and helps with time blocking, you don’t have infinite sense of time. - Journal: question why you have fear of failure, e.g. why do i fear this, what is the worst & best case scenario, why do i feel incapable of doing well, how can i better prepare to feel more confident in doing so - keep questioning until you destroy ur fear of failure with logic. - Low energy: take 1 day to do the things you want to enjoy, then the next day work. Mental health comes first. - Rest: regular breaks and balance. 4. Work life balance - Use the little joyous things and the comfort as the thing that gets you through the working day, e.g. going to a starbucks and journal. Work smarter not harder. - Journalling about accountability as well: did i achieve the goals for the day - Good night routine: slow, winding down properly. E.g. cup of tea, netflix, read a book. Make sure you're well rested for the busy day the next day.

this was probably the most realistic one yet. other videos are so strictly focused on glorifying the hustler mindset and overworking yourself till you’re burned out and tired. this video gives you super helpful and realistic advice, while also intertwining self-care and emotional comfort. so that you can grind and work hard but also still feel like you have a life outside of your responsibilities but not jeopardizing them along the way

•Wake up early •Prioritize doing something which you enjoy doing after waking up •Eat a nutritious breakfast •Freshen up •Use time blocking technique(dedicate a certain amount of time to a task, don't work for long hours... instead separate your time into blocks) •Use pomodoro technique(setting timer for small amount of time and taking breaks in the middle) •Just focus on the first step (it's the hardest part) •Create seperate spaces for blocks of time •Journal when you're feeling scared to do something- • Why do I fear this? • What is the worst case scenario? • What is the best case scenario? • Why do I feel like I'm not capable of doing this? • Why don't I know how to do this task? • In that case what can I do to make myself more prepared to do this task confidently? •Take one day to yourself and do whatever makes you happy •Rest well and take breaks regularly (don't overwork yourself) •Journal your daily life so that you can have accountability (you can keep a track of what your goals were for the day and what goals toh actually accomplished at the end of the day) •Create a slow and comfortable night routine

I wish I could find videos like this tailored to people who not only work and go to school but also have disabilities that make finding the balance between productivity and rest harder. I frequently find myself sick with stress because it's so hard to make all the money I need in order to pay for the things I need to, go to classes, study for those classes in the way that is most effective for me as a person, maintain the household, maintain my social life, and find time to treat myself gently/rest (mental health + chronic illness).Very frustrating! HOWEVER, this was an incredibly lovely video and I enjoy finding new things to adapt into my own routine. Thank you for posting!

You're underleveraging. You put too much responsibilities on your own shoulders instead of finding ways to lghten and distribute. Like the difference between someone living by themselves in an apartment in New York City and a family living together in an affordable part of the country but earning plenty with remote work.

Slow mornings and nights are REALLY a thing. I totally agree to you on this one. I've been following the same for over 4 months now and OMG! the boost in energy it gives off every single day?? IT'S SO GOOD. You give time to your body and mind to take its own time to start up and relax, which just balances everything. You feel burnt out by the end of day, it's alright because that slow night is going to relax you and make you feel like you've done everything for the day, which is really satisfying and when you wake up with that satisfaction at night, you're naturally more motivated and energetic to repeat the same. This only increases the romanticism to be productive almost everyday, thus reducing the chances of you resorting to procrastination.

I’ve been doing school and work all day. I do my have my morning and night routine but between then it’s ONLY WORK. It’s ironic I watched this video during my procrastination time because it opened my eyes to how overworked I am. I literally can’t remember the last time I watched tv or relaxed…. It’s been at least 3-4 weeks.

Love it. Thanks! What I love the most is knowing you are running a business outside of content creation. My personal experience is that I find it a bit hard that a lot of 'day in the life' productivity videos I watch are of people who make a living from... making KZbin productivity videos, full time. Thank you!
