Thank you so much for your video! I found this so useful for my interview as an Honorary Assistant Psychologist and I got the position!!! I didn’t expect it at all, I thought I did really bad but thank you so much!!

One of the best vlogs I've seen about applying what you know to the interview. This really got me thinking about how much my own experiences and skills I've learnt working at a secure hospital have taught me how to deal with situations and how to apply them as examples during an interview. As opposed to my old technique of trying to 'guess' what the interviewers wanted to hear. Great stuff thank you.

Thank you so much for the video. As I was watching the video I was really hoping that you would give an example, so I was so pleased when you did! I have question, do we need to be reflective also in AP application forms when addressing each point of the person spec?
@SharonB4 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for the comment! I would say yes but not to the extent you are in the interview. Try and keep it brief and for specific points only. Reading over my last application, I actually wasn't THAT reflective. I explained how I developed skills listed in the person spec through my previous jobs. Hope that makes sense?

Hi, thanks for sharing your video. What’s your take on using an example from your personal life versus work/professional life? Would the interviewers prefer to hear something related to the job?
@Fatima-qu3ml Жыл бұрын
I think she mentioned passion as something from her personal life as well as a traumatic situation that she coped with but only a little bit and much more focus was given to previous job skills gained and different situations in these jobs and professional environmenta

what is definition of reflective interview?? i can't find definition..
@SharonB4 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I'm quite sure what you mean? If you mean a definition of reflective that is - Reflective practice is the ability to reflect on one's actions so as to engage in a process of continuous learning.
