Ive been in and out of youtube for about 4yrs and growing an audience has been so hard for me! Ive always had ppl say “your channel should be bigger” and I have a decent following regarding my car (Red Ruby) and my work, but translating the numbers has always been hard! Lately ive tried creating the thumbnails and recently (as of my last video) made an intro.. I know tags are super important and I try tagging everything, but still ehh! I applaud everyone who puts up numbers in early as 1-2yrs because I know its hard! Hell ive been trying to do a giveaway of a free subwoofer for my first 1k subscribers for over 6months lol

Market yourself. Put decals on your car if you haven’t already. Join FB groups and every time you upload a vid post it in the groups and IG. You have the right idea about the thumbnail. But definitely use all your platforms to promote your channel.

I appreciate the video I've been wanting to do KZbin as a hobby bought a bunch of equipment but haven't had the motivation yet but folks like you theblackscatpack etc at least give me hope that I can actually make content. With all that being said I do have a question how long does it take you to edit videos and what software do you use? I'm asking this and you'll probably already have a video about this lined up. Glad I can motivate. I actually don’t have a video explaining editing. But I have Final Cut Pro and iMovie and I normally use iMovie. Depend on the video or can take me an hour or a few days. When I shoot a video I try to shoot it as I’m going to put it all together to try to make it easy on myself.
