Finally, someone who does it right instead of the wrap around method. I want it to be even and a real peyote stitch style. Thank you for this tutorial!

I really liked how this tutorial was presented. It was simple to the point and answered my question . Ive been beading for years but as time goes by one sometimes needs a refresher as i did. Thanks nice job and many successful creations . David P.

Was wondering if anyone wanted me to post my bead work. There my own personal colors and patterns. So your aware I don't often use patterns ,I'm more of a free style beader.

First thank you for sharing your knowledge! Second, note to self (I'm at work and wanna try this when I get home) 9:30....how to add new thread after running out
@donaldporta2 жыл бұрын
you have to go back a few beads and re-thread the needle thru them to make the link with the new thread.

Nice video! What size and type of needles are you using with the beads and the artificial sinew? I know you mentioned using #11 but I think you were talking about the beads. Anyway, thanks!

Do you have the pattern for this? And I'm Left handed!
@DavidDavid-fs1ro Жыл бұрын
The hardest thing for me is to get it started after I get it started then it's all downhill from they're so to speak. Second thing is to establish my pattern which sometimes is hard to do.

How many times do you separate the sinew to get it thin enough to fit through the size 11needle.
@donaldporta4 жыл бұрын
I separate the sinew probably 3 times.

What kind of beads do you use
@donaldporta4 жыл бұрын
that depends on how much time and patience I want to dedicate to the project. small beads equals much more time, large beads I can see better and can go quicker.

Do you think the artificial sinew is a stronger threading material than Nymo?
@donaldporta5 жыл бұрын
artificial sinew is very strong, I only use this--- I am not familiar with Nymo.

Where do you get the sinu?
@donaldporta4 жыл бұрын
I got mine from the back strap from deer. you can also find it on line and the artificial sinew is also an option.
