Hi Julie, I love this project. It's quite lovely and simple enough for even me to make. I unfortunately, don't have the square beads, so I'm wondering if you've tried making this with 6x6 Silky beads? I like working with Superduos & this'll be my first attempt at using any type of square beads. I love your calm, soothing voice. Unfortunately, we have not tried making this with the silky beads. Since the holes are diagonal on the silky beads, this exact design will not work, but thanks for the suggestion!

I love this bracelet it is so easy to make. Can you use 11/0 seed beads in place of the superduo.

+calabashgirl1 Hi, yes you can use seed beads instead of the superduos but it will completely change the look of the bracelet. You would need to use multiple seed beads to make the bead bridges that connect the square beads and then you would loose the look of that middle superduo. It could be an interesting look, I just think you would need to do a bit of experimenting.

Hi, could you substitute a 4mm round for the center part of pique?

You can potentially use different sizes or shapes, but we recommend that the beads have 2 holes. Thanks for watching!

Can you substitute tila beads for the square beads? Or are they the same thing?

I believe you could use Tilas for this. Tilas are more angular and uniform (That's Miyuki's thing) and they're also a touch smaller, 5mm compared to the 6mm square beads, so you would get a different look and the super duos may sit slightly differently. But the contrast between the curvier super duos and the angular Tilas might give a nice look.

+Hanna L Hi, I don't think I ever timed this bracelet but it was under an hour. It's a relatively quick and easy project and really fun to make.
