1:30 If your modem supports UPNP and has it enabled, you can use a program called "Portmapper" which requires Java 8 for version 2.1.1 of portmapper and I believe Java 17 for the latest version to forward the ports easily with it's GUI interface!

My server says connection faild if it’s private but if i do it not private it shows on the server list and works fine

I did all the port forwarding on my router correctly. I even added an exception to my firewall on windows to let connections in and my friends still can't join my Beamng server.

@@fillman86 I did all the firewall rules for Avast, but to get my home server to work, I had to disable the Avast firewall completely. Nope. I got a dual core VDS from nfoservers. Works perfectly. Now to find real life cars that actual work. Then find some sweet plugins if that is a thing?

i would like to see a first generation mitsubishi eclipse in a game like beamngdrive. it was never in any game at all. even if it is widely used for drag racing for example. is there an easy way to put a 3d model of it over the chassis of the 200bx?(i would not care if nothing else works, just for the looks.)

I think part of that is related to the fact that it was a north american exclusive, and most game devs are from places other than america. If you know how to model, you could easily put it over the main body of the 200bx if you wanted, but you'd want to move nodes around. Not too hard though if you take your time :)

hey man i had my server going before closed it then came back started it up an now nobody can join . i then made a new port followed all steps an im still having the same issue everyone is getting " connection failed "

have you restarted your pc, made sure that your ipv4 address, and normal ip address are the same?

great video very great to follow i understand that the modem bit for everyone will be different and i think thats one thing that pushes me away from doing this with friend or 2. i just wish they could implement a like create private thing with friends and then it uses the mods you guys both have or something idk

the problem is that it's peer to peer, and that opens people up to attack, so modems have them closed off for security by default Then you open ports as you need them, and that's all this is. Even big online games like world of warcraft have to deal with open ports, they just have people hired to manage it

I just created a server and everything works fine, but I don't see my server in the list. I didn't set it to private. My friend can't connect through my ip either

in direct connect, if you use your actual ip address (google for it), can you connect then?

there isnt a resource folder nor is there a folder with the name of my server (EDIT): its in the same directory as my server .EXE

hello, I have a problem, I play on the controller and on beam ng everything works fine, but as soon as I go to beam MP, it's as if the two joysticks on my controller were moving on their own, the car turns on its own and the camera too, I don't think the problem comes from my controller because when I unplug it it keeps moving on its own

settings don't transfer consistantly between beamng and beammp, so there might be an error on one. Consider going to the official beammp discord for assistance

not sure, but you can go on the beammp discord server. They know all those things. Personally I'd assume its a firewall on your pc, but I'm not an expert

​@@fillman86 You can use radmin VPN, and if all the people you plan on playing with are on the same radmin network, it will work, and no need to port foward, they just have to manually connect to your radmin IP in direct connection. If in doubt just search how to use radmin vpn for minecraft, and will same process in the program itself, that is a way.

beamNG need to add multiplayer as using the beamMP has too many steps to do do this do that a multiplayer mod should be download and boom mutiplayer is there and then from there you can click host server or lobby not download this then this port this forward sign up and everything else i missed
