I went to ask about this too, but I was going to say to set the pot. Then activate the pot for later in the turn. That way you are more likely to find the redmd fufu and super rejuve and have more info on what you draw. Tho I may be underestimating the risk of drawing to many discard then drawj you

@sejuwuani5122 that's maybe better. I wanted to put the trag back before card destruction to maybe draw it again, but if we hit rejuv we're good anyways. If you avarice first, you can card destruction into redmd and trag, and even if you don't hit rejuv you're fine, but the odds are a little worse to hit your big cards.

Game 1 u had it - 7:24 u should have discarded the trade in and white stone - added back instant fusion, summon debris special white stone, instant fusion > black rose > add blue eyes > and would have ended the turn with his board wiped, trag, and 5 cards.

​@comebackqing8452 as Keegan already said in the video, some of the choices he made were not optimal I think at some point he got in trouble bc he sided out avarice, which is fundamental to recycle your resources This deck plays 7 normals + instant, which is usually enough The only way to get a wyvern in this deck is to cut engine cards, which just makes you brick

I think in the first game you should've pitch the trooper targeting blossom with trag. Trunade. Debris x trooper x b rose. Instant darkfire dragon. Ss red eyes, ss a dragon, ss the other red eyes, ss blue eyes easy game 🔥

It’s a bad build. No one for one and the draw traps make the defences of the deck paper thin. Just look at Frazier smiths list as a better starting point or dmitris list from the same tourney for spice.

@@E3YuGiOh it’s clearly not though. Old mate was just a good player. 1 list. Frog list that topped today didn’t run 6 draw traps. Hero frogs is the most consistent deck already next to vayu and BW. The only other time hero frogs won with a draw engine was Oscar last year with triple upstart but everyone came to the same conclusion after more testing with draw engines. Defence is too paper thin with them. Fader/gorz/trag get bodied by a lot of things post side and even main with main decked oppression/DDV. And no one for one with 2 junk synchron main makes no sense considering that 1 for 1 + discard + junk is an OTK button. I get why wanting to run the draw traps but you wouldn’t run the full 6 or 5. 3 Yata would honestly be enough. Also not running any of the tribute spirit monsters in the 1 deck that can sideboard is a bit silly. The sangan tech goes crazy tho.

11:08 trunade, normal debris get level 1 instant for level 3 make armory arm equip to tytanial (does not target??? Card text says equip one monster it probably does target just like dark end etc then just ignore my noob ass lmao) summon red med off debris summon dragon summon second red med summon blue-eyes. Crash 3 dragons into buffed tytanial 3800*3=11400 you take 3800 including instant fusion.

It draws a large part of its deck turn zero and sculpts its hand to overwhelm and kill turn 2. They will usually dig for FuFu and end with heavy, cold wave and instant fusion in hand redmeds will summon the blue eyes and it kills fairly easily

What the other guys said. It’s a simple game plan but takes a skilled player to get to the right position a lot of the times. Players think they bricked when they really did not, just don’t know how to play the game. The key to stopping the deck is if you play some spell trap negation or a key DD crow on pot or magical stone. Alternatively, getting a colossal fighter with 3100 attack and protection from brio or vortex is a win condition too. Or just keeping rdmed off board. Sometimes, bc the way the dragon turbo plays, you will never get that opportunity though.

Reason dragon turbo/krystia and lightsworn decks do well during RBET is because they’re on DB and DB algorithm is historically skewed to help mill decks and d turbo. That’s why the decks do nothing consistently irl while hero frogs, vayu and BW are consistently topping/winning. Because they are insanely consistent. Hero frogs is a bit overrated tho I can agree but that’s because the sequencing of the deck can be confusing for a lot of players but that’s the same problem d turbo has.
