dang that's some crazy damage with a lvl 1/2 counter card for that old character, thanks for the guide :) I guess you could use melascula as well to keep him alive with lowest possible hp if you really wanted to. Gj :)

That is definitely a possibility. As long as he barely survives he does INSANE damage.

Green Gowther, Counter Meli, and some other different race unit with ban on the back will slaughter this guy. As far as I can tell you can never go first so

I used the 1 ultimate + the green Arthur that he used + the newest meli and nanashi in the back (took 2 lives but the 2nd life is free)

For this I went blue fraudrin, estarossa , purg. meli and escanor in the back with dodge food. Had to use the free retry.

I just brute forced this fight with my angel team and nanashi in the back. I won, but it came down to just my light Liz being barely alive, and I only beat him because I pulled her ult. I have her 5/6 so it did some pretty decent damage, even though I think she had skill effects blocked.

I win this fight using green brunhild, green gowther, tmeli, and margaret. Only brunhild survive tho. After 20 minutes or so. Her relic making the boss infect kind of useless, since you'd get ignite if you attack and she can only have 1 debuff at a time.

Used demon meta, Esta grey debuffs dont get removed because he immune to red debuffs so esta hits hard and demon team with purg meli tanks very well

Brunhild is really good for PVE stuff so I could see that being good.

Found some comments here and found help. Right its actually easy just need to use hard hitting units as he has 30% dmg cap. I used DK meli, TU1 and fraudrin but had to use free retry haha

The lower the health Meli has, the more damage he deals. Maybe you had too much health?

How are you preventing us utl gauge in the beginning? He gets for me after his first attack and cancels meli’s stance

Nanashi in the back. When he attacks he loses a gauge each turn.

This one was really tough, try the Fraudrin Melascula comp that some others used. It seems to be the best setup.
