Difficult spike from normal to galactic is basically unfair, you went from 10x0 effortless in normal mode to 0x10 trying as hard as you can in galactic, plus the ability of AI controlling each character individually as you can only control one with efficiency

Thanks for the tip I was only able to beat the turbo and the muscle cup for coins for my characters gears upgrades But in the reality, the hard AI difficulty is almost hard to beat due to them reading your movements And also I recommend for y'all to restart the cup rather than spending your coins to continue

I beat this stupid ass mode but its actually stupid af how the AI can do things the player cannot. They can make plays with all 4 players while youre stuck only being able to make plays with whoever youre controlling. Your teammates are never helpful. You can dodge 3 tackles and somehow not be able to pass to an open shooter bc they dont go anywhere useful ever on defense or offense. That is the most BS way to make a single player mode difficult. Its like if you were playing a normal sports video game and the AI team had guns to shoot your players while youre playing by the rules. And if that wasnt enough the AI also just has frame perfect item usage and dodges most of the time. They spam lob passes you have to stop alone bc youre AI teammates will do nothing while the ball is in the air like it really wasnt even worth beating. I havent played anyone online close to as difficult as the AI in this game.

My galactic run consisted of playing through balls to draw out fouls, pass the ball to a 25 striking rosalina and then spamming my two items. Easy goal 😂😂

I was getting stomped by these cpus and said I was never gonna bother going back and challenging it. But I couldn't just let bots beat me and take it lying down, I had the willpower to get back in there and keep trying and I had to use EVERYTHING just to win. Lemme give some pointers that can help: 1. Having a balanced team definitely helps and the formation order is also important 2. You can use the right analog to dodge and is often better than using the button with the left stick 3. Use items to create space for yourself so u can shoot or do a hyper strike 4. You can actually use items mid hyper strike to defend yourself 5. Try to use team tackles to extend your range, CPU rarely if ever use this themselves and it's very easy to forget it's a thing 6. Every cup specializes in specific behaviors with their cups for example cannon cup focuses on pressure via strong shooting, find the counter to that specific behavior. 7. U can free pass to bounce the ball off the wall if u have no one else near 8. If u are feeling heated take breaks and come back later 9. Remember that cups can be played with your friends (local) if you really need extra help 10. If you make it to the final and lose use 100 coins to retry but dont go higher than that 11. Use items effectively and timely to help make opportunities (example u can use an item even when you are downed by an enemy tackle BUT not when you are downed by an item) 12. Remember to shot cancel to fake out the CPU and get a free open shot 13. Dont forget to use your dash (it can be easy to forget) 14. When boom boom gets the ball you can make him pass to you quicker by pressing B (red circle shows who he is passing to) 15. Never give up and never surrender because you CAN do it

The problem with Strikers cpu we have to win but online you get rewarded for losing like Mario Kart just play the game you unlock stuff. I have no drive to be good like I am Pokémon where have to advance the story obtained battle points and ect. I got my first stadium upgrade by throwing 15 matches to make sure I get rewarded fast without overtime

I beat galactic mode championship cup last midnight with Mario, Luigi, Toad and Rosalina, and all my matches are so clutching and dramatic. Match 1: I‘m losing 0-2 in half time. Then I realise the opponent has a certain pattern in passing when they kick off, so I start reading their passes and abuse that weakness. In the end, I turned it into 8-2. Match 2: This time the game threw me a physical team, which is my team weak at apart from Rosalina. They keep making perfect passes and combo shots, and all 4 of them are banging at my goal. I panicked and kept mashing buttons hoping someone can stop it. I’m losing 2-3 in the last minute, then I managed to score a hyper strike with 30 seconds left. I kill the time and win 4-3. Match 3: Facing the same team in match 1. Was losing in most of time, but managed to turn it in 3-2 in last 30 seconds. I was planning to kill the time, but they suddenly went violent and score a perfect hyper strike with 7 seconds left, making me lose 3-4. Match 4: Again, was losing most of the time, but managed to tie it 2-2 in the last 3 seconds, forcing into golden goal. They keep banging at my goal, but I managed to get the ball and score a perfect hyper strike with max technique Luigi in midfield, with 3 man checking him, making me win 4-2. I screamed when I pull off the perfect hyper strike even it’s midnight, knowing I finally won. I had tears in my eyes when I see my Captain Mario grab the golden trophy and says “Mario number one”. And it’s been so long since a game can have me at the edge of my seat and have me screaming.

Galactic mode is so demoralizing. I thought I would play Galactic mode after getting destroyed game after game online to "improve" but I just can't help but feel like I simply can't score without a hypershot and even then I can barely get an opening to charge one. I've played people online that seem amazing at keeping the ball away from me and stopping me from getting a shot off and I just don't get it.

Tbh I think that dodging with the R button is better than with the stick. Your index finger is already on the R and ZR button and your thumb is still controlling the face buttons if you use the R button to dodge.

No matter how hard I practice the game, the AI always finds a way to cheat. They always know where the ball will go before they spam items, and they always know when to dodge and take lucky shots. I give up on Galactic Mode. It is impossible.

Its possible, but its definitely hard. This mode forces you to use literally every mechanic and will punish you for making some mistakes but dont quit on yourself u can do it, i was just like u with the same mindset

I got it first try but I knew was gonna be tough.. I used full technic on Luigi and Peach. Full Speed Toad and Full Power on Wario as captain. Make sure you gotta do your Special Shot

@@DiamondLobby Just finished Galactic cup. That dodge kick is the one that's really useful. In my experience you don't need to fake charge kick and dodge. You just need to dodge near the goalie square and kick the ball away from the goalie. The Computer always fall for it even on Galactic cup.

I was running though these cups till I got to the muscle cup in galactic mode. Legit my first loss came in that cup tournament. It’s there I realized I needed to utilize my character stats better. It felt so rewarding beating all of them tho. Sad this is the only good single player content in the game

The goal keeper is more prepared to block high shooting strikes than high technique strikes.. Its recomended to improve Technique over shooting

@@DiamondLobby congratulations. Well I've never played a strikers game before and it took me quite a long time to beat galactic mode because ot absolutely wrecked me. It reads your inputs and reacts instantly, like dodging items where there'd realistically be no time to react for or instantly tackling the one you're pass towards. And judging by other comments most feel the same. The difficulty comes from "cheating", as in you're not fighting an opponent with humane looking movements.

This mode isnt even worth the trouble. Its just copy pasted the same cups and slightly more coin rewards. Which are useless are u dont even need to buy all the gear. Most of the gear u need can be bought with maybe a few thousand coins. The rest of the gear is pointless once u find a good loadout for a character. Gonna stick to normal mode.
