As a G&W main, I’d rather play a losing matchup with the opponent not knowing what they are doing than a winning matchup with a guy like Tilde. Some characters gotta play really differently from their usual gameplan like the above Falco. But you can make it work.

used to main gnw/falco, dropped gnw, solo falco now and the only other gnw main in the city has me cooked i cant do the gnw ditto anymore i used to just beat him in that to the point that we agreed not to gnw ditto eachother. now we usually go falco vs gnw and he gets the W the like past 4 or 5 sets. but falco just feels like its so close for me. im hoping i can use this info to fix what im doing wrong. so glad you made this

Not going to lie, I hate this playstyle with all of my soul. It's so anti-falco that it hurts me, but so does trying to play against characters like this. I just like playing the game and, personally, winning against a character doesn't mean I had fun. I am very bullheaded in this game, holding forward a lot because the interactions are fun. Having to chase down somebody (dash dance/back, circle/air camping, retreating hitboxed) and calling it neutral is not fun. However, I'm getting tired of being cheesed. The Falco god Tilde hath blessed this playstyle, and thus I shall follow in the words of the bird lord, hallowed be thy name.
