@@HartHendrix Bro wtf, my brother and I couldn't even get a 3rd guy to show up at Bethany Beach DE. I had to spoof on my alt to get a gmax gengar for my collection and you wanna make it harder for me to be legit? FR though, we did everything right and are still being screwed. Leveled our metagrosses to 4000cp, went outside (the boardwalk, popular area during halloween even), and lit flares on a nearby gym every 15 minutes for 2 hours on campfire and still no one showed up. This feature has done nothing but make me feel the FOMO and feel like the game's deader than ever.

We downed a Charizard with 34 people, a Venusaur with 17, and today a Gengar with 14 people. I honestly think people are just being too eager and trying to only go for damage when doing these raids when they fail. They join a lobby of 40 people and get overconfident thinking they can win on brute strength alone.

Just did a couple today around 2-4 pm. It took us about 4 tries to find the solid strategy with our group of 13 trainers. As you said, Greedent w/ leveled up max moves are actually pivotal in keeping the rest of the team alive! It can tank the ghost moves very well and if you use max shield (unless team needs healing), we were able to beat it with still 40 pokemon alive (from the 13 trainers)

We did one last night with 14 people, it was surprisingly really easy. There was no need for any form of strategy like healing rotations or tanking and iirc all of the Gengar were caught. Take aIl of this as you will, but it didnt feel like end-game to me. My issue is with the MP system, catch rate and the release order of max mons

The most effective way I've found to defeat Gengar is by organizing the group strategically. Make sure the strongest trainers stick together, with their Pokémon having max gard and max attack. Group the weaker trainers separately. Since their Pokémon are likely to faint first, they can contribute by cheering and helping fill the Dynamax meter faster. This support allows the stronger trainers to stay in the battle longer, deal more damage, and take less damage overall

Grabbed it earlier today. Dmax GREEDENT was insanely strong and lasted ~5:40. Then Gmax Charizard was up for the last few shots. Great time.

I'm kinda disappointed by the community on this one. Up front Niantic said these were a different style of play and meant to require strategy. And yet sooooo many just wanna tap tap tap🤪 The max moves are there for a reason!😅 Guard and Spirit aren't useless! It's a marathon, not a sprint! This is one of the fee cases where I feel Niantic wasn't in the wrong. However! Adding in a stardust reward certainly seems due! Glad they did that!

Niantic blabbers things that aren't true/are inaccurate literally every week. Of course people don't take them seriously the one time they actually meant something lol. Most ppl didn't care to do dynamax in advance because they were too easy, and seemed kinda pointless UNTIL gigantamax came out. Not really surprising ppl were unprepared. Communication/launch failure=peeved failing players. Congrats to you and your group though! ☑️

Silph road had research yesterday stating that using your charge move was a waste of time in Max battles Both the quick move, and charge move both give (1) energy to the dynamax counter - so you are better off spamming your quick move to get the dynamax phase faster, when you do more damage - and heal your team Using charge moves seemed counter productive to the effort of the battle

I got the same problem. PoGo has been death for a while in my area. It’s a pain to even get your Pokémon’s out of gyms 😂. I am afraid I will have to travel all the way to a different city to some meet up to have a chance of getting it😂

It’s 8/12/16. Doesn’t sound like much but remember each time it’s 16% of your total health AND 16% of all your Allies health. It’s value for longevity

Dynamax gengar is a massive waste for anyone doing gigantimax gengar. Gengar is too frail to survive long against Gigantimax gengar so you'll be switching in to hit max ghost moves then switch out. A level 3 dynamax attack is equal damage to a level 1 gigantimax attack. This means as soon as you get your first Gigantimax gengar all the candy and mp you invested in the dynamax version was wasted.

No compensation for lasts weeks any legit player should call them out on that low catch rate done on purpose then because when i did spent 200 coins on extra balls it was one ball catch they changed the catch rate with the free and paid version.
