i can jump over the shockwave but every time i try to hit him i get shocked and it doesn't work. how do you hit him?

I hit him up high before he can land the shockwave. As soon as you see him starting the shock motion and the top of his body is no longer shocky then you can hit him.

It definitely is a short boss fight. I think the timing of getting the third and final hit on him can certainly be challenging for some players.

probably depends on the console. I'm using an Xbox One, and you cannot jump over the king's shockwave without taking damage no matter what you do. Other than that, maybe it would be easy.

Try double jumping (Press a then A again midair) While in the double jump press Y to attack Try to hit him when he is doing the special attack, hit the top part (the part that doesn't have electrocution on it)

Yes, you should be able to open the map and travel right to the spot. And yeah it certainly isn't easy but I recommend doing a double jump as close to the end of the slide as possible to get the spatula :)

Hi AshBenjT! Are you referring to the one at the end of the slide? If so, the trick is to do a double jump right for the end of the slide so you can land on the platform :)

I'm playing the switch version and it's the Y button. For this boss you have to jump and press Y when he doesn't look like he's stinging. Due to button mapping, I belive if you were using a ps4 controller it would be the Square button and on Xbox the X button.

I literally encountered a glitch where you can skip the battle, when I get back in the area I see the boss health meter and you shouldn’t be able to see the meter when you beat him
