If your struggling with this fight just build a lancelot around the "fight or flight" sigil so that every dodge is considered a perfect dodge. and run a sigil to extend the invuln period you get from the perfect dodge. And just spam his forward thrust move since it's considered a dodge. It'll put the fight on easy mode I promise.

Copy paste my comment from another video: Defeated Lucilius on my 2nd attempt (1st attempt is to get to know his mechanics) with 3 AI companions (Charlotta, Percival, Eugen all terminus weapon fully awakened). It was a close fight with 'The End' enrage dps check. The AI will do the mechanics properly also, so for those wondering if you can solo this boss without having to stuck with online players, YES you can clear this boss with AI only.

What trials, he attack at random, and unlike most of bosses he dont tell what he will use because usually two attack have same starting attack pattern so you dont know what of these 2 he will use.

cleared it 10+ times with randoms as vayne ezpz with faw mvps tbh one you know his mechanics he is easy but most ppl cart to his normal attacks, faw tips i can drop when he flashs red block then dodge its makes it easier since u block his initial hit then perfect dodge the next attack, when he drops the orb from the sky attack i find it easier to just press dodge so its dodge backwards and perfect dodge, when he spins his swords around him and theres like gust of air around him either gap close hug him or stay away since he aoe, potion hoarder lvl 15 is preety nice if u can have it on one of your sigils gives you tons of pots and 3 revives, as for any vayn main out there use rampart on paradise lost at the start, on final revelion attacks 2nd stage!! just run the first stage of the attack after the 3rd ground mark use rampart , on last stage when he drops paradise lost each mamber sould save the sba and use it once to cancel his cast thats it i guess new sigils kinda not wow tho):

I've started hating Lancelot's due to this boss fight, it's not even the "Hiya! Hiya! Hiya!" Spam, it's because whenever I get one or three, the fight takes longer and when they go down they is a 50% chance they leave (in my experience), I just use Kat, Vase, Ghanda (sometimes) and gonna build Vane to be more tanky soon

Got s++ with ai teammates first try as well, lancelot with flight over fight is so easy with this mission, also tried some random online coops, none success so far, even I don't die, the Narmayas eat the revive gauge too fast.

So i first tried a few times with randoms.. They died, i died, game over after a while. Then i tried with my NPC group: Me as Rosetta, Captain, Cagliostro, Ferry Captain was for Revives tho tbh i dont really know if she used it much? I didnt pay attention Cagliostro for her simply OP buff i needed the critrate because i went for a bit different build than usual Ferry simply because i have her build to charge SBA fast just like my main Rosetta. My best run took me 10:25 I honestly dont think i can break the 10 min with how i play currently and the end result was S+ 4* It just showed me how Overpowered NPCs actually are.. I mean Ferry got "No Healing Needed" in the end... Like honestly just doing it with NPCS makes the fight way easier than trying online. Atleast for the moment.

The difference of fighting this with AI and real people is so big. If you want an easy fight it's better to do it with an AI since they doesn't die and they also do the mechanics pretty well.

The people saying his easy are the same ppl that just play Lancelot,Charlotte, zeta the sss tiers like calm the fk down lol, those characters got so many ways to get invincibility easily unlike other characters. I easily beat this with charlotte, it’s a different story when you play characters that actually need to time their attacks and not just spam buttons.

Fun fight, but a total pain as Vaseraga, for some reason he can debuff and get rid of your immortal pain skill even though you have debuff immunity :( hoping they fix it

Im enjoyong the fight, but my biggest issue is how they placed so many visuals. Some mechanics, i really need to see what he is doing but the over cluttered of visuals makes it difficult, lol. Hardest part about the fight isnt necessarily the mechs (especially once you figure out the telegraphs), but the over the top visuals 😅 Edit: i wish the new sigils werent damage cap ;( i really wanted more build variety in the game. Oh well 😢

damage cap sigils with new secondary effect alpha-increase basic attack cap,at 30 restore sba to allies when you use sba beta-same deal but for skills,cuts skill cd by 10% when you sba gamma-grants 50k hp shield when you sba, it either general dmg cap or skybound cap(not close to pc at the moment to check)

It requires good play but they aren't bad at all in this fight really. Ghanda you need to do dodge cancels to accept your combo route but a stun build Ghanda makes it pretty cozy. Vas is great in the same way as Vane since you can pop undying and sub and let your team not have to do mechanics. Getting charges is easier than Ghanda tbh

Kinda meh update for me: one quest of sweaty grind boss, another damage cap, ignoreable paid content. We simply want more playable characters and costumes, and pretty sure they don't have any surprise playable character in april/may. Heck, even if they don't drop Strum&Drang as playables I'll still happy to fight them, or adding playable characters as boss fights

just got my 1st clear on my 4th attempt with narmaya. i think its a fun fight overall. my 1st try i tried to bring my usual team(percival,katalina, eugen) it was miserable since i dont think lucillius could be cc'ed at all. switch out katalina for cagliostro and it was a massive different for me.

I have a feeling they are gonna nerf this next patch lol Some of the mechanics dont give enough time to complete them when doing it with AI, it's mostly a matter of luck. Also mechanics feel too punishing, specially when playing with AI (which is my only option because for some reason it was impossible to get matchmaking for 2hrs so). Don't get me wrong, i enjoy difficulty in games like this but jesus man, they exaggerated with some shit here. Gonna fight this asso all night long for sure. Edit: I just beat this mofo and holy moly it was amazing. Definitely one of the most fun bosses i've fight in years.

Ya the boss is kinda dum, doesn’t seem like it has patterns considering it’s killing the AIs fairly well too. Only characters you can use against it without trouble are characters like Lancelot or charlotte. Highly mobile/invincibility tricks.

I just finished doing it with Vaseraga and Vane, honestly went quite well. With Vase you just gotta keep an eye on your Immortal Pain CD and if you have a build with enough CD reduction you can almost have it 100% of the time. I just don't like taking Vaseraga on my 1st time without knowing the fight so I don't mess up the Immortal Pain timing

as I said in other comments, have done it on 6 characters by now and haven't had any issue. If your problem is "other players" why not just do it solo? Also it's funny you mention Gran because you can use the Cover skill with the same build I'm using on Lancelot here and it's not just Gran but EVERYONE in the party takes 0 damage so it's totally doable there, if not even easier 😊

Its feels like its more dependent on what you gear in this fight which woild make things easier or more difficult. I cleared it on my very first attempt using Three geared ai and me being a Gran Tank/Sba Battery granted it was super rough with me failing the almost all but the final damage check so my hp was literally 1 😂😂😂 but still cleared

I kill this boss in solo at 4th attemp but for me (personal opinion) this boss fight is meh... Realy beutifull 1st time you see the cinematic and the boss moveset but boring afther you kill 3/4 times because the cutscene unskippable and the fight mecanics. (Run all time, jump on circle in 1st part, attack and try to break when he try to use skill). I have good vantage because i main eugen and hage ranged hero help alot but i think is more boring if you use malee character. But in the end the new sigil is good but if i think i need farm this guy again and again and again for all hero..... Omg ....

Absolutely hate this fight. Makes me think Granblue isn't for me after 400 hours. Have a full AI team with maxed terminus weapons, auto revives, war elemental, supp damage, and just under 45k hp. 7 failed attempts. Also Absolutely no QoL updates this patch. And the rewards for Lucilius is just more damage cap. Think I'm done until Apiril updates bring some more love into the game besides a super brutal, not fun fight. Extremely disappointed. And I'm not the only one who feels this way.
