Tekken 7 Dragunov guide showing how to use Dragunov and how to play Dragunov. In particular I cover Dragunov’s frame data and frame traps. This involves looking at some of the best moves and key moves that Dragunov has and showing how they can be used to pressure and setup counterhits. I also show how they can be used as mix ups and how Dragunov’s grabs and throws can be used to counter power crush moves. Some of the moves from Dragunov’s command list have high pplus frames. These can be used to setup launchers. One of them is instant while running 2. The move can also be used to setup a wall combo or reversal.

Thanks for the great tips!! I’m super super close to leaving the cess pool that is green ranks into yellow and that’s thanks in part to your tips. Learned really useful stuff like floor break combos when before I’d be wasting free damage

I think it’s very worth mentioning that several of Drag’s CH strings are confirmable. 1,2,1 and df1,4 and b4,2,1 in particular benefit a lot from this, although some are easier to confirm than others.

I'm still new to this game and dragunov is my favorite character and I want to get good with him but some people say he has glitchy mids is that true?

There not glitchy, his mids have really high hitboxes so a lot of characters can worm there way out. It's whack but it ain't a glitch yknow

His weakness is his mids aren't great. But he has good other tools

Running 2 and df4 i have experienced getting mid crushed, by moves with evasiveness and stances like xiayou AOP and even by Jin too, but it doesnt happen like every game. Drag has amazing tools, but he is hard to be unpredictable with, because he is simple. I still think he is good. but biggest weakness is his linearity, you can step alot of his stuff. If u want good mids with drag use db2, 2. Df1, b4, 3 or b4, 2. Use df4 to create space, and then whiff punish. u can begin sidestepping after alot of ur moves to create a whiff too. Punish mistakes, its what drag does best If you want to learn tekken play drag, if you want rank your in for a ride with drag, but it will pay off

King has the same issue, just so you know. Mids disappearing at times.

Thanks for the tutorial, I just reached yellow ranks and it's becoming harder cause now people don't whiff 90% of their moves. I felt my neutral game was becoming stagnant and that I had to rely too much on iWR2 and d2 cause I couldn't get people to fall for my mids, Dragunov not having the best mids doesn't help either.

He doesnt seem as strong as some of the other characters in the current version of the game
