Tekken 7 Dragunov guide shoing how to play and use Dragunov. In particular I look at Dragunov’s ambush tackle. I cover setups, oki and a secret hidden move he has to reverse opponents’ attacks. With regard to setups I show you which moves from Dragunov’s move list can be used. This includes some of Dragunov’s frame traps and his rage drive tackle which becomes unblockable. I also cover oki using his best moves and top moves. One of these is a launcher.

Unfortunately Dragunov's tackle is generic because you can break the initial grab and it can be reversed, but his follow up's aren't. There is another thing you can do from being tackled and that is Armbar reversal, anyone who can do an Armbar from tackle can do this, so Dragunov, DJ, Jin, Paul, Nina and Marduk. AFAIK it can only be done after they do mounted punches, what you do is press 1+2,2,2,2,2,2. If you're fast enough you can do it when the 3rd mounted punch hits or just after, or you can start it from the second punch.

Nice. Both the 1,1,2 right punch reversal and the arm bar reversal are entertaining ways to end a round, especially when you do the tackle and then they reverse the mount. King can also do this reversal, so that's 7 characters total. Of them, even though Dragunov and Marduk can reverse the arm bar, these two actually cannot do the arm bar from tackle. The full arm bar reversal input is 1+2,2,2,2,2,2,2 - one more 2 than you wrote, but not like that matters much when we're all just mashing. It also works by mashing 1+2. The arm bar can be reversed when it's done immediately after the tackle, but it's certainly easier to reverse it when it's either delayed or done after three punches.

@@dannybangz I agree with you. There was that patch where all of JDCR's characters got buffs, but Drag just didnt get enough. Personally I'd prefer that they lower everyone's damage output who's top tier

If I'm correct, when you get tackled by your opponent and you time 1+2 to reverse the tackle you don't get anything guaranteed right?

I think the reversal doesnt guarantee anything unless you're Yoshi or Negan. Those guys have unbreakable mounted attacks
