This weekend, we are getting a Raid Day for Mega Heracross in Pokémon GO. This will be the debut of this Mega Evolution, and it is certainly useful for a variety of different reasons. In this video, I will be talking about how you can beat it, and why it is worth farming.

And it is, Jinsula kinda screwed this one up. Mega Heracross has slightly lower DPS than Mega Blaziken, but way more TDO, so it's definitely going to be a meta fighting type in raids

According to the Trainer Club, Mega Heracross is more effective than Mega Blaziken. It wont be as good as Mega Lucario, but it's not in the game yet.

Yes you should absolutely raid it somewhat. 1.Its a new mega, you will need to check it off your mega Dex. 2.If you don't have access to Heracross being a regional you may need the regular dex entry, or more candy or may need to get the shiny. 3.Shiny regionals tend to be a little rare. 4.easy to get good IVs from raids. I go hard after regionals when I travel and the IV's are generally booty cheeks. yay for dex entry but I want good IVs as a flex.

Heracross is one of my favorite Bug types so I'd definitely like to get enough energy for his mega, as well filling out the Mega Dex.

Yes, mega Lucario will likely be better once it comes out.... But when will that be? Who knows! It might be another year or more. I definitely think this would be the best fighting type until then. I'm going to max one out for bug and fighting type!

I feel mixed with Heracross, while its always been my favorite bug along with Scyther, as a mega bug attacker, it will only have a double advantage over is a Grass/Dark , Dark/Psychic & Grass/Psychic so unless they put Zarude, Hoopa or Calyrex in raids, bugs attacker dont get much love. still gonna have fun with this event tho

Unless you live in the region these spawn in, you won’t easily max them. It’s basically a pay-to-max pokemon. He’s cool but not spending 100-200 dollars to max as lucario/blaze will be easier to farm and not bug types aren’t needed a lot

4x weakness doesn't really exist in PoGo. You're either "weak" (1.6 damage multiplier) or "double weak" (2.56 damage multiplier). Even double weak +STAB +weather boost only = 3.69 damage multiplier

Why not? You get 2 free raid passes a day. I might switch back and forth between Tapu Bulu and Mega Heracross raids. Especially since I already am already fine on having the resources to max up a Bulu. But not on Bulu. If you don't get a good one to max up during Raid Day, you can continue to raid them.
