How to beat Radagon & the Elden Beast with a Melee Build on Elden Ring!

Radagon the easy part. Eldin beast just keeps diving under every time I move in. I can get him to half health right of the start. But then just constantly diving under and throwing those golden slashes on repeat. Every video i watch it’s relatively tame compared to mine.

Dodging that ring thing is like trying to focus on something while watching a 3D movie without the glasses. I can’t pinpoint exactly where they’re at.

For real! After the update nerfed it My +10 Mimic doesn’t even try to dodge or block! Just stands there like an idiot trying to attack and dies in half the time it used to!

Okay so, based on the obvious that you decided not to address: be sure you have high enough stats so that you can tank at least 2 of his nonstop aoe's and be sure you can time your dodge correctly lol. Good info to have, but I was personally hoping for more depth as I'm on NG+2 trying to help my friend with his build and radagon. Still informative by showing the full unedited fight. It seems like he has 60 points in vigor, which, tbf at this point in the game, no matter which build other than a full mage build I guess, 60 vigor should be the minimum

I've beat Radagon and the Elden Beast multiple times with a strength/faith melee build. I've managed to kill them solo eventually, but if you want to use a spirit summon I recommend Black knife Tiche since it deals a lot of damage and avoids almost every hit. For Radagon, I've used the Blasphemous Blade, you can either 2 hand it or use a shield but the boss has predictable openings when you can simply spam the weapon art and maybe trade a hit. For the Elden beast, I've then switched to a Grave scythe with Black Flame Tornado Ash of war, if you have Godskin peeler you can use that. When you approach under the boss, channel the weapon art as long as possible, it just wrecks the Elden beast. I've learned to dodge the moves, but I always buff myself with Lord's Divine fortification (super important) and Golden Vow; also Haligdrake Talisman +2 works wonders together with those buffs and stacks with Pearldrake Talisman for even more spell negation (physical attacks are annoying but dodgeable). If you like, Pest Threads is a very good incantation to throw when close to the boss and you can't spam the black flame tornado.

They had to up his attacks hard - I'm taking major damage from those stars that chase me for the longest, but your character isn't taking too much damage. Mimic tear is trash in this fight - not sure if it was nerfed during the patches... Elden Beast is the second worst boss in this game (first being Fire Giant). Thanks for the video - it's helping me understand the attacks as a melee build.

black knife tiche is a far better summon since the mimic tear nerfs.

Mimic tear at +10 gets me through the radagon fight fairly easy so I recommend you get it

messing around with builds. last test was melee magic hybrid with 60+ holy resistance and 50+ physical resistance. he still hit me for the same big chunks he did without any resistance. this game is so fukt but they're not going to fix any of the overtuning or broken aspects of the game because the aut "git gud" community doesn't care. i've beaten the game plenty of times with many different builds, have over 2k hours in the game. the game is trash toward the end.

If I could fight both bosses from the beginning one by one I would win but being at lvl 184 I can't beat Melania or this guy. Sucks this is my favorite game since Skyrim but I have to put the controller down on this one since its too hard.

Elden Beast is the f-k-u boss. I beat Melania using the 10+ summons and 10+ Halo scythe. In her flower phase you want to roll towards her when she dive bombs you. She will miss you.

Use tiche +10. Was using mimic and whatever they did to it ruined it. I have no problem with Radagon it’s the eldin beast spamming those golden slashes and diving away everytime I get close.

Just play a better game, elden ring was over hyped, copy and paste bosses all through the game, and final boss is bullshit, I finished it but after 50 hours it's boring as hell

shit man, this boss is to fucking hard. alone it's almost impossible with a melee build. I'm stuck I need help. this boss needs a fucking nerf. the spam attacks that I can't jump over or dodge ruin it.
