That’s really just how I went against my friend with my orfist deck, just call shadow army tokens with my order and just get them to 6 damage
@jonathanbuban96105 ай бұрын
Claudine and Granfia are possibly good G2 gamers as they spam the board with plant tokens. Pair it with the order card that gives 10k to all 5k units, and you got a column swinging for about 30k each.

10:16 technically "Knight of Protective Spear, Arthen" has resist but only to other rearguards, she doesn't protect herself. She's also a grade 2 meaning that she's also the ideal target for dominate anyway.

I play shiranui and orfist, and i noticed that shiranui weakens alot when its restander rearguards keeps getting taken out. AND its grade 2 rideline that has the skill to CB1 and give 10k to a dominated unit. Thats a pain in the ass to guard at times. So as long as i take out the restanders and grade 2 early on with my shadow army / World Order (In the darkness nobody knows), it weakens shiranui GREATLY to 3-4 weaker attacks. But its not easy to do.

if shojodoji g2 rideline does get restricted in the future, the clear board strat will be completely useless as players are now "forced" to play genkai and be able to revive from drop turn 3 unless you can clear drop as well that is

I wonder if the restanding RG skill should just get a hard errata to weaken Shiranui. Considering Vanilla OT can give 100M to a second target RG and you just dominate a VG on 2nd Stride, there is a case in which giving an additional cost of EB5 would make Shiranui players have to think 2x before performing such a multi-swing combo. Having the potential of 4 attacks with 100M+ is actually stupid when paying cost for RG. On first stride, you only get 9 Energy, so you lose 1 of the strong multi-swings if you pay the cost to draw. If you decide to only multi-swing on first stride, you can only use one of the two cards. So you are either left with 2 Energy for the draw at the end of the first stride (Which allows for one card to multi-attack on 2nd stride), or 4 energy after the first stride of you multi-attack (Which gives you the choice to either draw or commit to one more multi-attack on 2nd stride). EB5 cost in addition to the current JP recommended hits on the cards would actually shut down the other potential threat when you dominate your opponent's VG. In fact, this can allow Dragveda to return. In addtition to this as an added benefit, Shiranui cannot be paired with EB cyclers without causing the deck to suffer from demerits (like using CB or other resources).

So now we know how to win vs. Shiranui, how do we lose to Eugene?
@ViehTee4 ай бұрын
The guard pattern part is a bit confusing. You are talking about keeping just G1s on the board is only viable when Shiranui is going 2nd. But your attack values assume that the shiranui Player is using the G2 of the original Ride Line, because the crest gives only +5k to dominated units that were placed by your abilies this turn (this is only possible with the G2 and not the shojidoji one) hence you also must not have any G2 or higher units in your drop. and units already on board only get +4k.
@KirbiKnight4 ай бұрын
The crest strips abilities and gives 5k to ALL dominated units. The "placed by your card's ability" part is just there to make sure your opponent can't use any on place abilities

Yo, thank you for this video man! Can you do Luard next please?
@KirbiKnight5 ай бұрын
I don't have plans to do it atm. Without Cell Gaon, the deck is not nearly as oppressive as Shiranui. Since these videos take quite a bit longer to make, I try to keep them to the most oppressive decks.

Depends on your deck build tbh. Welstra has rush which is one of Shiranui's weaknesses. If you play your cards right, you can also clear your board. If they're not dead by turn 4, you will be

Theoretically, Jet could have a decent enough grade 2 game that it could be possible grind out Shiranui. Haven't seen it tested but maybe.

Drajeweld shuts it down the deck isn't even that good as long as your smart and play against it the correct way of course they can always get lucky but it's not this unbeatable threat that people are making it out to be . I have little to no trouble with it mechanically
