The biggest issue with using a punch bowl is dosage. There’s no way of ensuring that someone doesn’t drink to much or little of the poison, especially given all the factors in play. The best way to escape while being chased is to get out of sight, then hide. Your pursuers are most likely going to assume you'll keep running and keep going after you, which takes them farther away from you, giving you more time to escape while they try to backtrack and spread out to find you. The guy who chose to be hunted should have hid near the house rather than run at all, when the hunters go out to find him he can get back inside knowing the captors have fewer people to guard their captives.

@primroseprom2 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I think it’d be better to just not bully anyone in the first place. I don’t really buy into the whole, “you don’t know what they’re going through” because someone shouldn’t have to be going through anything to be treated with respect. But even if we don’t go into the morals of it all, some of the most abusive people I’ve met in my life are people who are incredibly outgoing and charming to outsiders. Just because someone’s quiet doesn’t mean they’re a threat and just because someone’s outgoing doesn’t mean they’re not.

17:19 Shooting at the enemy is still a good choice in most cases. People forget that beyond target accuracy, the target is still a person. Suppressive fire/suppression is a very real thing and while suppressed, the target gets stressed and fear starts to take over, which reduces their accuracy and decision making and forces them to take cover (although it didn't happen in this situation because it's a movie). The kidnappers were driving vehicles while firing, greatly reducing accuracy, so he had a great advantage to fire at a target moving closer. And while the police stat may be true, there's also a need to consider that some of the bullets shot may have been covering fire or suppressive fire. Anyways, great video! :)

24:15 - +Cinema Summary - To me, this was the weirdest part. How come a veteran who fought in Vietnam doesn't subconsciously check for traps and IEDs when stepping into a potentially dangerous area, where people are apparently getting killed? I often chatted with a Vietnam vet when I was in my teens. He used to joke about how his wife is often irritated by the way he checks for exits and (non-existent) traps even when he visits a friend's house. They tell the bullies that they have no intention of killing any of them in fact they want them to live and learn from the pain they have caused. Also prior to the party the Bullied made a suicide pact. Prior to the party they show each person leaving a note and saying goodbye to their family. That is why he does not mind showing there faces to the captives they wanted them to know who they are. The kid that was given the key to the chains was the Bullied friend. The punch bowl is a red flag? Sounds like a stretch to me. Also, cars are poor cover from gunfire. The engine blocks specifically are pretty good, but to get into a car is to potentially seal your fate if the keys aren't in the ignition. Even if they are, if the assailants are close by, you might not even have a chance to get the car started and/or in gear before they attack, so unless the car is running and you have a bit of a head start, you're probably better off just taking the gun and running.

Police cars have bulletproof doors so you can use that for cover
@icorrectly2 жыл бұрын
@@DeezNuts-mc2ed For the most part a police car is no different than the same car you can buy from your local dealership. In fact, they are identical to taxi cabs in the sense that they are “fleet cars”. They are built with the “towing package” to be able to run constantly without overheating. Some agencies do have bullet *resistant* kevlar installed in patrol car doors, others do not. It depends on the agency and their budget. Armoring the doors/windows of a police car costs a lot of money; not just to install them, but over time, as the weight reduces fuel efficiency (not to mention vehicle performance). Even armored vehicles will only protect you temporarily as damage accumulates in a shootout. In this kind of survival situation, it's best not to assume that the body of the car will stop bullets, because being wrong will cost you your life, and even if it does, the protection is fleeting, and would only buy you some extra time to say your prayers before your attackers can get to you.

The reason why Curtis didn’t think things through is that, during dangerous situations, the part of our brain that thinks clearly turns off and enters a thing called, “Survival Mode” which makes our thinking very stupid. I learned this from a therapy video I watched. If Curtis calmed down (probably wouldn’t be able to) he would’ve remembered that he had the gun and possibly hid it inside his jacket or something.

The one thing I remember reading... or hearing from somewhere, is something that can be kinda applied here too. "You can't poison someone at a wedding". Which basically comes down to a few things, one is that you have no idea if the target will eat/drink the poisoned thing. Two: If someone other than the target eats it then it will raise alarms, especially if more than one do it. Three: In the case of #2 happening the effects will start showing up at different times. 4: If it is from a caterer then it becomes near impossible due to time and the amount of things prepared. Basically here is that if you spike something you can't make sure that someone (the nice guy) doesn't also drink/eat from that. Which is one of the points raised in the video

If you somehow manage to track the catering service that is being used and somehow manage to poison the food... Well, who's to say that that exact food is prepared for your target and not for someone else? they can cater for multiple clients at the same time. Also to access the food you'd need to not be caught in any cameras

I'm not like the losers in the movie, but if they wanted to kidnap and end their lives afterwards, they were greatly affected by the bullying that they didn't think about the aftermath of the situation if everything backfired. Wouldn't the loser's parents or the school get blamed for what happened and the ideas of what the losers did would more likely spread like wildfire because it was reported on the news?
@justicefranklin18402 жыл бұрын
@@eyes0956 that's a really good point i wonder what the aftermath would be i bet the school would get blamed because so many of the kidnapped and all of the losers have that in common they all go to the same school but more anti-bullying and suicide prevention campaigns would start to become more prevalent and it would be considered a horrible tragedy in the city and school but also the parents would have to move because of the ridicule and hate they would receive just my little theory

What the losers did is cause so much damage to the bullys (physically, psychologically, & mentally). Even professional bank robbers wouldn't give that much damage to others. It only causes more trouble with everything. Even if the losers wear masks all the time and let everyone else go, the bullys would still have scars or wounds and eventually, they are still going to snitch to the cops and the losers at school would be their main suspects.

@@devlinambers9408 Good for you bro, make sure you plan it out thoroughly so as to not get caught, don’t be impulsive that’d put you behind bars for life.

I gotta say my only problem with this one is the “should’ve known something was wrong when there was a punch bowl at a party” 😂 I think jungle juice and similar “punch” drinks are more popular than jager shots at large parties

Maybe they use punch bowls in America but every sesh I've been too just has an assortment of bottles that you pour into your own glass

Maybe in the US. I have never seen a punch bowl in my life (I come from Central Europe and now live in UK). It's not a thing. We don't really drink such drinks anyways, to me it tastes like sweet chemicals ... We just drink beer, wine or spirits with mixers at parties.

I've been to literally hundreds of parties and there was never, ever a punch bowl at any of them. There were plenty of jager and jello shots, though. Except high school prom dance and weddings (formal occasions).

Yo! I love The Final. One of the first Indie movies I ever watched. I recommend this one! I’m so happy he covered it! What a good way to start the morning. This was a very good movie, in my opinion. Not perfect, but I loved the plot and execution. This one is a hidden gem.

How to beat the final? Easy, don't bully people who could probably kill you, and don't go to sketchy ass parties in the woods.
