The criticism from what I understand isn’t from S1 being more horror/mystery while S2 was more Action/Adventure The issue was the the anime adaption was significantly worse than it’s manga counter part skipping over alot of content

They skipped/removed the best manga arcs and with that at the same time removed all the other characters we would get Ex: the best adult of the show being the only patternal figure that kids ever had, the best antagonist this anime could get and others Rip golden pound arc Also made a non sense plot ans ending, rushing it as hell, ep 10 or 11 din't even had a script, they just did. A better example of how they ruined that season was the Norman is alive plot twist, on the manga it was so fucking cool and showed how smart and a genius Norman was, creating his own civilization with rescued children, but on the anime they removed it all and just said "ohh look whos there? Is it Norman? Omg it is norman wow"

That’s how I felt about the last bit of the manga as well. Tbf though, the mangakas said they wanted to keep the story under a certain amount of chapters, but the end product was rushed and not as fleshed out as the beginning and middle. I got so much hate for saying this on another forum, but it’s how I feel. Why write an amazing story just to rush the end?

Considering humans eat other things to include but not limited to monkey brains in certain parts of the world, are we limiting to cows and such? Or is this all animals? The entire food chain will need to be rebuilt. Also our livestock has multiple purposes. Some are bred for milk while others are bred for meat. As it stands now, preditors like lions have no qualms in killing and eating us. Not everything can survive on plants and grain.

Maybe it was more fleshed out in the anime episodes, but the ending seemed rather rushed, with twists after twists repeatedly. Of course we could assume several of them but it came across as 'let's just get this over with'. I do like both seasons and it is a fun anime but the pacing at the end of this season seemed extreme.

I would've followed both Emma and Norman plan starting with Emma. Norman's plan would be used PROPERLY as a distraction if shit goes wrong and the hunters get involved. The distraction can also help all groups involved in the rebellion and attack the headquarters.
