Great stuff! MIB is indeed one of the coldest places in the park, but specifically, the walkway into the single rider line is far and away the coldest place and either park! It’s awesome! As for Islands of Adventure, The Cat In the Hat is wonderfully cold.

Tube stations in London (like King’s cross) actually have the same AC situation, so I think it’s meant to emulate that! They are always super cold in the entrance to combat the heat down the escalators.

GREAT tips! The only other times we were in Orlando, visiting Disney World, it was spring time. We are leaving in less than three weeks for our foodie road trip and Universal vacation. Great tips-we usually go full steam ahead, but do enjoy hitting up rides with the AC blasting. With school age children, we usually visit toward the end of August when Florida schools reopen (NY schools open in September). So, crowds are a little better but the heat is still killer. I will definitely take Tyler's suggestion into account-just not sure if I can pull the deep "V" as well as he does (fingers crossed I don't get banned) lol.

You're too sweet! You'll be able to fill up your cup with water at all of the freestyle machines, and the team members at the food tents with fountain machines will fill it up for you as well! There should be plenty of places to get water!

Okay hear me out. Coldest place in IOA is the bathrooms in Lost Continent behind Doc Surgrue’s. Best bathrooms in Orlando. Ironically the worst smelling area of Orlando is near there too at the Freestyle machine in front of it. I’m convinced that they push the sewage from those bathrooms through the freestyle machines there.

We like to take a pool break midday. Easy to do when staying at the Hard Rock! We also like to get ice cream from Florean's (salted caramel blondie, mmmm) and sit down to watch Celestina Warbeck. Eating inside a restaurant for lunch also is great for cooling down.

I'd be bummed to see you two doing just Orlando theme park videos for years. (Sometimes I feel sorry for the hosts of DFB & All Ears videos.) Hey Jathy! We love Rick and Nikki! It depends on which cup you purchase. The one we got this last trip, which is the one you can purchase almost everywhere, was 16.99. However most of the time we purchase the "tumblr" style freestyle cup and those are between 24.99-26.99. Those prices do include refills for that day. You can get complimentary water at most locations where you can purchase something to drink!

It’s definitely cooler in the mornings! Lots of people have the misting fans and they sell them in the parks, we’ve just never messed with them. We’ve heard a lot of people say the cooling towels work really well, too!

I don’t know if I have the worst luck ever but that coke freestyle cup was a disaster for me in universal studios. It was 3 strikes for me. 1 was closed down, another had a super long line and then the 3rd strike was in front of MIB where nothing was coming out and everyone was getting frustrated. At that point we were dying of thirst and just bought waters lol.

Oh no! When the parks are super busy, it can be a little bit harder to get them filled. We have a few “favorite” spots that are usually easier than others. The coke store might be the best, thought, because it’s indoors! Also, if you take your cup up to one of the food locations, they’ll fill it for you instead of paying for water!

This is a great question! We wouldn’t be surprised if they had some fireworks over the lagoon in Studios, but we haven’t heard anything official!

We have yet to see the Horror and Makeup show. Our first trip in 2017, we had 5 1/2 days and had never been before. Huge HP fans, so that was our priority. This May, we did a quick trip and only 3 days and a few hours. We tried to concentrate on trying new things, but still missed so much! We have a week planned in September for our first HHN, so maybe we can finally get to see this one.

Usually, we go a week every year or two, but September was rescheduled from last year and we couldn’t wait that long, so we went in May. We may only get to go once next year, but O am learning lots of ways to save money thanks to you, OI and RixFlix! I can definitely go more than every two years from now on! So, thanks for sharing.!

Universal now uses daily ticket prices, so purchasing them in advance might save you some money. If you already know your dates, we say go ahead! As for proposing, get the photo pass and propose in front of one of the photo spots. We’d recommend letting the photographer in on it, but you’ll be guaranteed to get awesome photos!

“Misted” hahahah There was a time last year that my brother and I wanted to get wet, so we went to Bluto’s……..well…….. I walked off with like a patch of 2 square inches wet, not I walked off with only that part wet, but 99% of me was DRY! I was ticked. Hahaha So we walked over to Ripsaw Falls and I got DRENCHED! When you purchase an annual pass, you have to include info like name, address, etc. they’ll have to put your info in for the annual pass. Then you should be able to pick it up yourself.
