Good morning Nanny and Moose. What a wonderful centrepiece. Once again I have to say that your dresses are just how I like them, long, wide and cool for hot days, unfortunately here in Portugal there was no Spring and Summer hasn’t arrived yet, it rains, it’s windy and the nights are cold. The blue and coral dress is wonderful. I loved the green skirt with yellow designs. Another piece of the nativity scene, the camel, which became fantastic, what a great imagination you have Nanny. I am blown away by your sewing skills! If you hadn't told me you added longer sleeves & extra length to that Mexican wedding dress, I never would've known. Just amazing. I can paint about anything but I can NOT sew, except for thing like hems, buttons, etc. Sewing machines & I just can't get along. So I am always impressed by your abilities. We are camping this week in the mountains of New Mexico so no heat problems BUT Sat we return to West Texas & temps over 100⁰ 🥵 Stay cool and hydrated Nanny!!

Just returned from my trip to AZ. Mercy, the sun 🌞 is definitely brighter. Was sick the first two days, altitude change and temperature change. Hi Nanny! When you talk about MuuMuus you bring back pleasant memories for me...we were an Army family...my dad was an Army physician and we had the opportunity to go to Hawaii when I was about 9 or 10 years old. I still remember my mom buying me and herself a MuuMuu...mine was beautiful blue and white and hers was red and white. So many fun memories about the MuuMuus and being where things were more casual and relaxed (in the 50's) Thank you for the memories Nanny! 😊❤

I, too, have started wearing summer dresses, boho style with tiers and also my one and only caftan. And they are sooo very much cooler than my shorts are for the very reason you stated...the air goes right under and up the dress!! Mine are the longer length and I love them! That camel rock is sooo cute!! You are so talented and this rock painting has got me thinking to paint some for my great-grandsons for their Mama's garden and to remember me by. I bought a fan from Temu that you can hang around your neck. It looks like a headset, but only cool air comes out. When it is empty you can charge it again with a plug. Ideal. I also love your clothes, you always look very nice. You show that older ladies should continue to dress cheerfully, then you look much younger. You look 65 years young and beautiful

Hey Nanny - you are so talented…it is so relaxing to watch you paint those rocks. The camel is turning out great. I’m glad you are going to continue doing that in your videos. Did you say 96 degrees??? Wow, I don’t think people know that houses in CA weren’t built with central air - it just wasn’t needed. I guess a lot of people are putting those “splits” in now, is that what you have? I agree that dresses are the way to go in the heat, although I love them year round. I love loose flowy clothes in the summer also. However, I have to wear the undershorts that go down on my thigh to keep them from rubbing together and chaffing in the muggy weather in KY.
