I had to watch a few videos to get ideas and this is the only strategy that worked. Knowing what to watch out for helped once I got him to 50%. I used pluck of many once after he started freaking out in phase 2 but the rest of the time I relied on cloud step.

Dropped in to give your props! watched more than 20 youtubes on this tiger clown and THIS is the KZbin build that worked. I did modify the build slightly becuase i kept running out of Mana before Yin Tiger was dead so i respec'ed my Celestial Medicine. Sitll ran out of mana (due to cloud steps constant drain) but i was able to squeeze in one additional cloud step smash and ultimately i killed this bastard!

Followed nearly all of the suggestions (like maxing out the two spells and using the azure dust transformation). Nearly everything came out just like the video. He had a bit more health when I transformed so he had maybe 7% left after I reverted. That was intense because I had no mama and didn't have a ton of health and he just launched into a combo right before that 😅🥹 But managed the victory nonetheless the first try after watching this. Maybe 8th try overall. KangJin Star and Chen Loong were tougher at like 15ish each right before this.

Nice strategy, but something always goes wrong when I try to replicate all the steps. Biggest problem is much lower damage than in video, with ecact same setup, and Yin Tiger comes back with the almost unavoidable grab attack which takes so long the Gore Daoist disappears before the clones come out. Other times he blinks away before getting the first Cloud Step attack off. EDIT: finally, the stars aligned, both cloud step attacks critted. the tiger didn't use his hard to dodge blink grab, the daoist lasted long enough, and the clones finished him off with me about to die from the next hit.

First of all, congrats, I have been following all your suggestions and with excellent effect. However, on this, I believe you are a "victim of your own success". The devs have definitely changed the sequences of Yin Tiger especially in the first 'phase' you suggest after Cloud Step and then basically he follows different sequences. I guess you did something right in simplifying this fight too much and against the dev wishes who probably changed things up in later patches!!
