The biggest issue is I was doing probably 1/6th my normal damage and based on the debuffs I had it made no sense...? Nothing was reducing my damage yet I was hitting baby hits. Ghazzy tried doing Trialmaster for the 4th ascendancy aswell but you literally couldn't take the lift up to the boss arena, so yeah we can't get 4th ascendancy tn because both of them are bugged. Its a bit frustrating

Having a mechanic that is the opposite of all the other mechanics in the fight while looking exactly like them IS unnecessarily punishing. Apply forehead to wall may be your favoured method of gameplay but most people aren't like that.

All I took from this video is that your character needs to have insane damage and damage reduction in order to just get your last ascendancy nodes, which you don’t need because you already have insane damage and damage reduction. Needs reworking imo

My biggest takeaway and tip after a few runs: make sure you either have enough dps OR good mana management on your build to kill the boss before you run out of flask charges. In many instances my characters were OOM when the boss hit around 50% HP which makes the rest of the fight a long drawn out slog if your DPS relies on using a high mana skill combo. Especially tricky in the last 25% where he fires off a lot of attacks that hit your honor pretty hard. Also, evasion is king. Good luck, exile!

There is a better alternative to every single of the movement skills which is Ball Lightning + Lightning warp. Precise. Teleports you wherever you want. You bypass everything, take zero damage while initially teleporting.

You can use lightning warp with ball lightning as a convoluted way to blink if you cant afford the spirit for the real one. Its also has no cd.

i made it to the last boss this morning with 3500 honor. basically 1 shotted everything to that point. had no idea what the mechanics were. unloaded quite literally all my mana flasks into the boss to barely get it to half health. also i had max honor resist and that laser that did no damage to him almost 1 shot me and took out half my honor bar.... lol. then got 1 shot because i had no idea what that stupid mechanic was where you collect the hourglasses... wasted an hour of my life and a token.. yeah.. well played ggg. never wanted to quit playing more in my life.

Thanks for the guide, did it with a friend on the first try! The clock mech is trivialized with two people, I ran to one side and friend to the other, the fight is less intense because the boss is not targeting you all the time. But he has A LOT of hp, we got 50% damage and -30% monster hp and still was a bit tough

I take back what i said. Lvl 78 and i managed to win. Im sure it has to do with all the boons i had which was 50% more dmg and maybe a 20% more dmg for me and my minions. I managed to win. Thank you for explaining how to beat this guy. I was stressed out and basically figured id die. Minor correction to 1:45, you can see your current relic effects at the trial map (the altar thingy you interact with to select the next room) in the bottom left next to the "Leave Trial" button, which also lets you leave a trial in progress and come back to it later.

how i did it easily: 75% honour resistance 75-100% defences +3 items for vendors + lots of extra mods for more water did it twice so far both runs where very consistent

There are flawless runs, as in no hit. You get a unique chest called temporalis from it. There have been no completed runs, but it's extremly likely that there are some people who have the unique relic already (its an ilvl 80+ unique relic).

I watched this video right before fighting the boss with no movement speed on my boots and no movement speed boons. Just died during the fight due to the hourglasses spawning practically in the four corners of the room and not having any movement speed buffs. A little upset that I lost to moving too slow.

Tried it twice as a warrior; I had 14k honor at this boss. 35% speed boots, leap slam with Martial tempo, yet, I couldn't catch the bloody orbs on time. not gonna do this trial of suckma anymore.

they may have already nerfed it but i had no problem with collecting the little orbs without any movement skill during the clock phase. I did however end up losing because the second half of the fight I was oom. Slowly slowly wihittled him down while he also whittled me down. With my monk build - 80% evade + the damage reduction ascendancy, plus the honour resistance stacking.. his skills didn't do much to me. I really didn't take any damage until the second half when he started casting more shit

AS a warrior this fight was extremely long, but, with 75% armor reductiona and 75% block, i was able to take A LOT of hits. Irun a sword and board, and I use armor break explosions on my melee attack, and boneshatter for i might say very efficient aoe clears. Which means i had to rely on perfect strike spam to stun the boss, since i don't really know any other good single dps combo. And that took long too. I would say prolly about a minute of spaming it to get a stun. And on stun i use Seismic cry/Hammer of the Gods Combo, which would trim his hp by 1/5th. so essencially do that 5 times. Again very long fight, kinda stresfull, even though i could tell that i constantly took no dmg from anything. Shield charge did infact make the mark collecting easy.

I had over 10k honor, 50% more dmg to monsters boon and 30% more from relic, and -30% monster hp. I run spark sorc ~20k spark dps. Fight took me ~15min until I eventually ran out of honor with boss still over 30% hp. There's something broken, it feels like boss is taking 99% reduced damage from lightning. For reference I melted all other bosses in 2-3 seconds. I remember trying trying on my much worse geared minion witch awhile back and it was night and day easier (I only lost because not enough speed)

Re run the bosses at story.Create new instances which in map has skull icon.Clear the are and the boss and repeat but you shouldve have bunch of exalt while doing the story

GGG badly needs to implement some sort of "lab" or "arena" where you can practice various boss fights/mechanics. The current system is ridiculous and unbelievably punishing for HC. People should be able to practice on bosses without losing 40 minutes of playtime down the drain and 10% exp loss, loss of character. The mechanics are just ridiculous as is.
