How to provide power supply and wire a Air Duct Pressure Transducer. Basic configuration/setting of a pressure transducer.

could you please explain about differential transducer

transducer it will give a differential pressure signal, most of the transducer used in Air Handling Unit will give a 0-10 volts dc output signal, then you will do some engineering conversion like 0 volt will be equal to lowest range of your transducer then 10 volts will be the highest range of your device (transducer), you must select the diff. pressure range as per the system that you are working on

if you will just monitor the static pressure you can install it in the main supply duct just after the AHU, but if it will control the speed of the fan then you need to install it a little bit farther than that or where you can see the first branch of air duct. Just like what I am saying before you can coordinate with the Mechanical Engineer for the exact location of the pressure sensor.

@@SantosJrCapellan-BMS can we use average of all vav damper position to ctrll vfd without the sensor as when we have problem in location of sensor?

@@salimyousuf8848 maybe you can do that if VAV's are just few numbers but I think it is better to use a pressure sensor

@@noumanasghar7085 actually I don't have a PDF book for DDC programming, I was just looking for some example of DDC programming from the site of Schneider and did my projects based on my experience in programming computers like visual basic. DDC programming is using functional blocks, it is just a matter of connecting the inputs of a block to another blocks. These programming tools are property of solution providers, it is hard to get any documentation for this. Maybe in the month of February I will start my DDC programming tutorials
