I've been a designer for well over 15 years now but for the majority of that lifespan I've been working at an agency doing nothing too creative. Only 4 years ago I decided to switch jobs, and also starting to freelance on the side. Why am I saying this? Well probably just to tell you that although I'm already a slightly old fart (turning 42 what?), I still feel like I'm just starting out. I'm the only designer at the agency I work at now and get a lot of freedom, but it does come with the cost of almost constant imposter syndrome. Pretty sure I'll get a ton out of your videos. You deliver and present top notch work!

This is pretty meta, but I’d love to see and learn how you discovered your design style. I personally can’t draw well so I stay with very geometric designs and purely shape building. I feel like I’m obligated to be a good drawer to be a good graphic designer. Is this true though?
