In those, you were talking about "acquiring investor funds" & that seems to be the common theme in your videos. You position yourself as an influencer & what you say - likely impacts the way other traders view trading, or topics such as acquiring capital. So, when you are presenting something that is FUNDAMENTALLY incorrect/unattainable to many people out there - I call you out on it. From how you're talking about this topic - it sounds like the only due dilligence you've done on the topic is listening to someone elses KZbin video & then just ran away with the idea. The truth is, no serious investor will give you $$$ with a few year track record, especially as a discretionary trader with no coding skills. Unless you can build algos, no ones even going to look your way. That's just the truth. if you have buddies blowing you full ears of the idea of "getting outside capital", at least do your DD & see if any of your advice givers has actually gotten the money. I'm going to have to side with OP on this one. It's not easy to get someone to invest in you, even with a solid track record. It's not likely to happen if you try to do this solo without an outside middleman company, such as Darwinex. It may be easier as a social media influencer with connections, such as Kimmel, but for people who are unknown, it's an uphill battle.

Basically you can not Trade money from other people without a License for it, otherwise it will be illegal on the Legal point of view. This person could sue you every time he wants if you do not have a license to Trade with Third-party capital Funds. A quick rundown about me. I first started trading in 2007-2008. This was Forex trading and then in 2013-2014 I learned algorithmic trading and it's only been since this year that I have been profitable in trading. It takes a long time to learn. For some people it might be quicker but learning how to trade takes time. Then learning how to program in trading takes time. All of those things can be taught except for utilizing those things to make money. That's the hardest bit. So Forex takes time. I would advise people to trade algorithmically as opposed to discretionary trading. It's the one and only way you can remove emotions from trading totally. Anybody who thinks they can trade without emotions is delusional as we are humans.

Depends on the route you are taking. In some, yes, in others, no. In the ones you don't, you're normally not "managing other people's money"

I'm bad with math but in the very beginning i was told to save 1k. Trade from that 1k. Try working on making 2k remember to use 1% per trade or put 0.5 on one trade and another 0.5. Whatever works for you as long as it is not above 2%. Do only one trade a day. Once I make 3k from the 1k. Take out 1k for yourself and keep the 2k to continue your trade. And so on just to keep it stupid simple. From your broker. Open two accounts each week you trade on from the other so you get paid yourself without the long wait. Plus you don't blow your account on that one account. If you ever lose your discipline

I would recommend trading with a fixed RR, back when I started it really helped me because it's simple and discretionless / mechanical. Not saying it's not possible to have success with anything else but most other traders I know also target a fixed RR and agree with me. I would generally say BE and partials are not needed with low RR strategies like 1:2RR but that depends on your trading style

Kimmel, have you been getting in touch with private investors? What are the common routes traders can take (as in an ACTUAL prop firm or individual investors)? Would love to see you interview one. I would want to know what specific stats they look for in a trader's track record to take them on. What are common profit splits and risk structures they accept? For example, I've heard of traders having close to 50-50 profit split if the investor is putting up the trading capital and risk OR close to 80-20 split if the trader take the upfront risk; for example the investor puts in 450k and the trader puts in 50k but any draw down will first be taken out of the trader's 50k first. Thank you for this shift towards professionalism. I really do appreciate your videos as it's a road I want to take as well

All investor types are of diff caliber, from sophisticated in title only to actual seasoned vets who'll give you a rectal exam before allocating a cent. Diff terms/conditions from each, target ines you think have pull with on your level. Family offixes, HNWIs in the sub-institutional sub $100M tier

I see this may could go different, prop firm will still going be around its a profitable business thats fact, they will find a way to regulate them and be under the eyes of SEC and CFTC. To be a portifolio manager theres a lot of more path its not easy like that to get capital from private investors, funds etc. Its not for everyone this path, You need bunch of certificates. I prefer to make much as possible in prop firms and use my own capital to trade.

Think of it like this, if you're good enough to pass a test, if you put in £10,000 into a personal account and hit that 10% then compound it for 2 years you're at £100,000 to break it down, after another 2 years you're at nearly 1 million if you really look at long term and you can trade, the asset is the skill set.
