I keep cutting it off since I still didn't have the skills for it yet but I am really interested. Hello po! Sobrang na inspire ako sa video mo. I am a Certified Public Accountant pero nahilig ako sa Photography last year. Nawalan ako ng work nung April dahil nag ka retrenchment sa Company, so while waiting sa job opportunities, nag try ako mag aral ng photoshop kasi I want to use it sa Photography lang sana. But after learning it, natuwa na ako gumawa ng Graphic posters. Hanggang sa magkaron ako ng 2 client na nag pagawa ng logo ng business nila and Social media posters. I am still learning. I wanted to improve pa. Natatakot din ako simulan mag Illustrator actually pero na inspire ako sa kwento mo. I am not sure where this new skill will lead me, if mag shift ba ko ng career or what. Woah! I'm planning to take Virtual Graphic Design din sa Tesda kaso biglang nag covid-19. Sabi kase ng nanay ko malaking tulong daw yung NC3, nag stop kase ako sa pagaaral and pinaliwanag ko naman sa kanya na hindi talaga ko nageenjoy sa school at pinaliwanag ko din sa kanya yung willingness ko sa pagdedesign. Sa ngayon gumagawa ako ng mga posters & tickets for underground rap battles dahil nirerecommend ako ng pinsan ko na rapper, ayun din ang source ko sa pagiipon dahil wala pa akong sariling laptop. Napaka-layo ko pa pero sana maging successful itong tinatahak kong landas. Btw, nag start ako mag design 2016 usually mga fan art lang ng favorite kong basketball players. Hanggang sa konti konting nag improve and I think this is the right time to make a living out of it.

Omg. I can relate po. I did pass the board exam and worked for a bit in a dialysis center. But even before, I couldn't feel the passion to work as a nurse. But because sabi nila na nurse ka at makakakapag abroad ka. Recently lang ako nagkalakas ng loob to really pursue my dream and explore what I really want in life. Hope I'll figure it out soon. Ang ganda ng video na to, nakakainspire. Ako, wala eh, high school grad lang ako, and nag took ako ng computer science course, pero almost 3 months lng ako nagstop na din ako kasi di ko kinaya pagiging working student. Kaya ngwork na lng ako nun. Nagaral ako ng autocad and nagwork ako as Cad Operator for almost 10years and now last december nagresign na ako sa work tapos ito, namiss ko ung art, since bata palang ako eh hilig ko na magdraw at gumawa ng kung ano anong artwork, at high school plng ako marunong na ko magphotoshop. Kaya ngayon ginagamit ko na sya, sinusubukan ko ang mundo ng pagiging freelancer. Hehe ayun nakwento lng din. Salamat sa video na to. Bigla ko lng naalala mga pinagdaanan ko. Hehe

Glad you liked my video :D If you're looking for an alternative from paper and pen or wacom then yes, I do recommend that one. I used pen and paper before but I consumed more than enough of paper so I decided to buy one. Eco-friendly! lol

Same batch tayo. Pero mas senwerte lng ata ako kc sinuway ko mama ko na mag nursing ako. Fine Arts na course na itapos ko. Pag yan talaga gusto mo you will still end up with that kind of field. Pero as Graphic Designer kailangan din nmn mag self taught sa tools like any Adobe apps. Sa school traditional painting and illustrations ang training at wala masyadong computer na ginagamit.

Hi! Okay naman ang dreamweaver to use for websites although check mo din if kapag ihhand over mo na sa client, consider yung things like kung gusto nilang may access sila sa backend, or edit controls like sa WordPress or Webflow na pwedeng ihand over yung backend/account.

i am studying bs psych ngayon po pero gusto ko na po talaga magshift kasi feeling ko po nasasayang lang oras and pera ko. i really want to shift na po talaga sa art-related program :( ayaw rin po ng parents ko sa fine arts kasi magastos and ayun sayang daw po "talino" ko pero nauumay na po talaga ako sa stem :( gusto ko na po talaga magshift :(((

Hi po, gusto ko din sana maging freelance web designer/developer. Nag aral po ako ng HTML/CSS just recently lang and now nakakapag convert na ako ng webpage template na dinesign sa photoshop to coding. Balak ko na sana isunod aralin ang wordpress kasi html/css coding palang ang alam ko sa web design, zero knowlege pa ako sa mga CMS. Pag na aral ko po kaya yung wordpress may mga clients na po kaya kong makikita na papasok na skill set ko based on your experience?

Kealdeca that’s good na may alam ka sa html and css, magagamit mo yun along the way. As for the clients, oo naman as long as macconvince mo sila sa portfolio na ipapakita mo and sa mga outputs na nagawa mo na. Of course importante din na maayos ang communication nyo para everything will work smoothly. Kaya mo yan! 👍🏻

Hi! 2 years ba din ako naka focus sa web design plus UX and UI including branding pero more into web design. Depende yung rates eh kasi hindi ako naka hourly or under company, project based ako kaya per project din yung rates. Pero nag start ako mag charge around 15k kasi that time kumukuha pa ako ng experience kaya hindi ko pa din alam ang tamang pag presyo 😆 then once you upskill yourself and experience na din, you can go waaaay up from there 😉 Thanks for the appreciation too!

Hi Marilou! Start with 8GB of RAM esp if you will use apps related sa graphics. 500gb SSD is good na din although you can buy laptops na hindi ganun ka high ang SSD then buy na lang external para makatipid ka 😊

It’s not a short process, baby steps..you can learn from different online courses offered - from free to paid. Then create personal projects as your practice na din.
