I wouldn't know hey because I didn't do Bcom. The decision you make shouldn't be on what's more difficult or vice versa. It should be based on what your career path is.

Hi Sne I'm currently a matric learner and I'm determined to become a lawyer... I've watched the whole series and it really helped me to see Law at a wider view... Now there is a teacher at my school whom is demotivating me and saying your parents need money if you want to become a lawyer...(I just want to know if that is the true case)
@snemthembu69684 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure as to which angle your teacher means when they say such but the one thing I can say is the LLB course is slightly pricier than most, but then again if you are South African you have funding like NASFAS so you wouldn't have to stress about your fees. The other time in your law career where you would need money is after your degree and you choose to go so PLT full time (the course is a tad expensive) but again if you get articles after completing your degree you can do the course part time and most law firm pay this for you, so again you wouldn't have to stress. Also just go for it, things have a way of falling into place somehow.

I've watched part 1 and 2 of your videos, and I find it strange that you narrow down the legal profession to advocate and attorneys. What about prosecutors. How come prosecutors aren't given the recognition as lawyers because after all they to have obtain the llb degree.
@snemthembu69684 жыл бұрын
The goal for many is to become an Attorney or Advocate (to become admitted). You don't need to be admitted to be a Prosecutor. Also the route to becoming a Prosecutor is simple. You need to have the degree then apply for the Aspirant Prosecutors Training. If I were to discuss everything law related I wouldn't finish because there is a lot one can do with just the degree.

Hi sne I'm currently a first year student at unisa studying LLB, I am thinking of applying at UP during my second year. Will they add another year or? And is it a good idea?
@snemthembu69684 жыл бұрын
It all depends on which modules you have already done and whether they are in line with UP, if they are you will be credited and won't be delayed. If not it's possible that youay be delayed. I say find out from UP as to whether they will credit you for the modules you have already done.

Hi Sne I watched the law series twice now because I do aspire to be an attorney. What is the stream of being a corporate lawyer ? Do I have to first study a bcom law degree first or are there any other options available especially now I took maths literacy as one of my subjects
@snemthembu69684 жыл бұрын
Not necessarily. It also depends what yoh mean corporate lawyer? You are not a lawyer unless you are an Admitted Attorney / Advocate, and to be admitted you need to have done LLB. If you do BCom you can be a legal advisor, compliance officer, legal consultant. So if you love things like taxation, finance & accounting, then do BCom.
@carolinecebelihle76894 жыл бұрын
@@snemthembu6968 I'm in not at all interested accounting and the like but I am otherwise interested in business operations like making sure businesses follow procedures when starting companies ie m.o.i etc as well as reviewing contracts and employment issues/laws thereof.
