Hey! Mr. Jay, I hope you're doing great, I would like to know what the kind of approaches someone can use to built his career in political consultation. Because I do have a degree in Governance international relations. So I'm willing to attempt a master in political consultation, where should I start? I Mean the introductory part of my degree in masters....?

learn a craft. Candidates will always be in the market for people who can help them with their words, speeches, debate and media interviews. Likewise, they will always hire people to help them execute their advertsing campaigns, be it digital ads, tv spots, radio, persuasion mail, social media. They will always be in the market for people who can help them raise money, be it personal solicitaion, text messages, email, snail mail, or organized events. The best place to learn? work for a candidate or get at job at a political consulting firm. If you want to get an advanced degree first, take courses that will help you advance these skills. Jay
