Is there a difference in between being a watch designer and a watch maker?

@THINKBIGc There is a difference, yes. Watch Designers create an entire watch, it's shape, it's functions, the esthetic properties, etc. Designers often draw various shapes when creating a watch. A Watchmaker services and repairs watches to keep them running optimally. They open the watch, check for worn parts and note anything out of the ordinary. They clean the parts, replacing the ones that need to be replaced and reassemble the entire movement while applying various lubricants.
